Function: System Administrator
Qualification: Graduate in IT/Telecommunication/Computer Science/MIS from HEC Recognized University.
Location: Karachi
Experience: Fresh – 01 year of relevant experience
Job Description:
- To assist in Multi Flavor Operating Systems (i.e. Windows, Linux, Solaris.)
- To provide L1 technical support to the internal and external clients.
- To provide 24/7 on-call operating system operational support.
- To monitor and make sure the up time/health of all production and DR servers.
- Recognize potential issues as they arise and escalate to L2 support.
- Work with team members to resolve unusually complex or cross technology incidents.
- To assist in business and technology projects as per need.
- Proactively and reactively look for solutions and betterment measures to prevent problems from occurring in technology area.
Job Requirements:
- Must have good understanding and command over Windows and Unix based operating systems (HPUX / Linux / Solaris etc.)
- Interpersonal, effective communication skills
