We are looking for a Senior Manager-IT Support our IT Functions in Renault, Pakistan. Although, based in Pakistan you will be a part of the Enterprise IT team,The EIT is responsible for creating, implementing and sustaining a world-class service provision and agile development capability to facilitate the ambitious growth and business transformation agenda of the Al Futtaim Group across all geographies. This covers Business Application Management, Infrastructure & Operations, Enterprise Architecture, Service Management, Information Security, IT Procurement and IT Governance. EIT also manages and innovates the entire life-cycles of a SAP ERP system for amongst others Automotive, Retail, Real Estate and Financial Services including development, selective outsourcing and application management. The Group Infrastructure includes data centers hosting state of the art servers & storage, converged networks, workplace, services and security systems.
Your key responsibilities will be but not be limited to:
- Responsible for management and development of local IT support teams.
- Responsible for all IT related support and operational tasks.
- Coordination and alignment with Group IT standards, polices and processes.
- Responsible for resolution and remediation of all IT incidents and requests.
- Coordinate with Group IT team to plan and deliver upgrades within the international operating entities of the group with an intent to provision appropriate hardware for the identified projects.
- Plan for allocation of support personnel to provide adequate coverage to meet the hardware and software support requirements for new projects and/or IMACโs within the operating entities.
- Establish a professional relationship between IT delivery teams and the user community.
- Provide 24 hr support coverage for all group businesses/users by planning an out of office coverage by the engineerโs time on a rotational basis.
- Ensure that the support engineers have the necessary tools to the job at the defined time.
- Improve and streamline work processes to raise efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure that customer support engineers are trained and kept abreast on new and upgraded software, operating systems, technologies that are in use by the group.
- Prepare monthly operational demand forecasts including outstanding risks and issues.
- Support EIT admin teams with the traceability of the deployed assets on corporate tool and physically in the field.
- Coordinate and manage relationship with key stakeholders, vendors and service providers
- Keep General Manager Information Systems up-to-date on support tasks and team engagement.
You Will Have a Minimum Of The Following Qualifications
- At minimum of 7 years of Technical experience in maintenance of hardware and software, including 1 year in Network operations and support and at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Degree or Diploma in Electronics / Computer Science/ Information Technology and /or related certification Preferable ITIL.
- Excellent command over the English language
- Strong background on client computing technologies covering the area Desktops/Laptops and mobile computing.
- Strategic Planning and Analytical Skills, Effective Communication, Strong people and time management skills, training and coaching, interpersonal skills and customer expectation management.
- In-depth knowledge of Desktop, hardware and software trouble shooting
- Strong background on Infrastructure technologies covering the area of Desktops/Laptops/POS, mobile computing, WINTEL servers and various network equipment.
- Interpersonal Skills, Business Acumen, Problem Solving, Confident, Leadership Skills and Strategic Thinking, Attention to Detail, Ability to Learn new technologies.
- Team Player, self-starter with the ability to complete tasks in an unsupervised environment.
- Have high inter-personal skills including politeness, and positive general outlook.
- Analytical thinker, detailed oriented, with good problem solving skills and ability to multi-task and manages change effectively.
- Willing to work flexible hours and on weekends.
- Willing to make International trips as and when it is required for Non-UAE IMAC Projects. Apply
