VACANT POST: Applications are invited from individuals fulfilling the given criteria for the below-mentioned post on a contract basis in the e-Library Project of the Board of Revenue, Punjab.
Post Name: IT Specialist (01)
Job Description:
- Installing Ethernet cards.
- Configuring network drivers.
- Troubleshooting network connection issues.
- Supporting and working with Windows (10 and above), Mac (OS 8.x and above), and Linux Operating Systems.
- Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products.
- Installing and configuring appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
- Supporting the management of the project, including developing presentations for workshops, seminars, and meetings with high-ups.
- Performing additional duties as required.
Age, Qualification & Experience:
- Age: 25โ45 years.
- Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, GIS Engineering, or equivalent qualification from a recognized university by HEC.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant field experience. Government job experience will be preferred.
Eligibility Criterion:
- Candidates having domicile in Punjab are eligible to apply.
- The post is purely temporary, on a contract basis, under the Contract Appointment Policy, 2004, for a limited period.
- The selected candidate will have no right to regularization of the contract.
- The decision of the authority will be final and cannot be challenged in any court of law.
- The competent authority may accept or reject any application during recruitment at any stage without assigning any reason.
- A project-based lump-sum salary package will be admissible for the post, and the selectee will have no right to claim allowances as defined for regular/contract posts.
- Applications must be accompanied by attested copies of:
- Educational certificates.
- Experience certificates.
- CNIC.
- Two passport-size latest pictures.
- Domicile certificate.
- Other relevant documents.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for tests/interviews.
