Team/Role Overview
The Relationship Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets, as well as in providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, and other types of financial transactions in coordination with the Institutional Banking team.
The Relationship Analyst also serves as an intermediary in trading for clients. The overall objective of this role is to act as a strategic advisor to our clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for clients.
What youโll do
- Build relationships with various internal and external audiences to ensure timely problem resolutions and to provide support for a range of audience needs and services.
- Perform financial and operational investigations, including credit, foreign exchange, cash management and trade services, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.
- Assist Banker with the preparation of relationship reviews and client portfolios
- Partner with Product Partners and Relationship Managers to perform various activities for Know Your Client (KYC) requirements, including timely origination, monitoring, renewals and completion across all product and marketing levels
- Facilitate credit originations, credit allocation, approvals, documentation, bookings, fee collections and renewals for Standby Letters of Credit and justify exceptions, as well as credit allocation from Parent Account Management teams and Credit Risk Management
- Identify revenue opportunities, position certain products with clients and monitor billing and service queries, as well as correct mapping/marketing hierarchies in Citi Investment Strategies (CIS) to ensure revenues earned from all products are appropriately reflected.
- Assist in the preparation of support discussions for clients, ensures designee approvals/deferrals in place, and ensure discussion is lodged in Citi Risk Approvals
- Maintain and ensure that portfolios have correct marketing levels and legal structure reported in the appropriate systems.

Position: Country HR Officer
Job Location: Karachi
The Country HR Officer (CHRO) for Pakistan & Banking is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas within Pakistan. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple disciplines within HR and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of HR services to employees in Pakistan. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication is necessary. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning.

Responsibilities:
- Provides a broad range of HR consulting services to client groups within Pakistan, including advice on talent acquisition, managing talent (assessment, development and redeployment), compensation processes, organization effectiveness (change management, leader effectiveness, performance management, coaching, organization design), employee engagement (communications, employee relations, facilitation of rewards and recognition, employee benefits), change management to support constant transformation and provides HR input on internal and external audits.
- Applies thorough knowledge of HR principles and local employment law to resolve issues.
- Partners with other HR disciplines teams based around Citiโs footprint globally and with business and functional leaders to assess and define the appropriate strategy, organization structure, and role design for business groups within Pakistan.
- Attracts and retains high potential talent by helping to define and establish career paths within Pakistan. Supports the development and amplification of a Citi Pakistan employee value proposition.
- Coaches and develops leaders in successful performance management activities and upgrading talent.
- Acts as the primary contact on all HR matters to the Pakistan regulatory bodies.
- Is an active member of the Citi Country Committee (CCC).
- Provides support to the HR Head of Middle East & Pakistan (MEP) & Banking HR Lead on an ad hoc basis and is a member of the MEP HR Leadership team.
- Is part of a group of CHROs within the 29 countries across the Middle East & Africa cluster with opportunity to work on pan-cluster initiatives
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firmโs reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications: 6-10 years of experience
