Descon Engineering Limited Jobs Engineer Subcontracts:
Position: Engineer Subcontracts Location: Islam Barrage (near Vehari, South Punjab Province)
Qualification: Preferably BSC. Eng. / B.Tech. (any discipline) and / or MBA
Areas of Expertise: Lead, supervise and control the Subcontracting activities within Division; implement relevant policies, procedures and performance standards; directly involve in commercial negotiations of subcontracts and to ensure subcontractors & vendors provide services according to specifications & standards; prepare subcontracting plans, evaluation of quotations, evaluation of comparative statements for review and approval by Manager Subcontracts, selection of successful bidders, keeping a frequent check on subcontractors performance, make sure timely payments and closing of agreements of subcontracting works WITH the objective to support the Division in subcontracting matters
Experience: 7+ years of experience in a medium to large scale engineering concern with direct exposure to (Construction) project execution, have been substantively involved in subcontracts administration.
Preferred Industry/background: Very good understanding of the Engineering / Construction industry dynamics especially w.r.t Infra Structure sector.
