Key Accountabilities
- Initiate new development projects and futuristic research projects considering recent trends in green chemistry and sustainable products
- Liaison up with production and customer services team on product trials and validations
- Process Optimization of the developed products
- Accomplishing the development from concept to commercialization of innovative products as per prevailing market practices to ensure that the department’s goals and objectives
- Implementation of IMS Operational controls with awareness about IMS Risk assessment procedure and controls as per EHS requirement.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors
- M.Sc./M.Phil. Chemistry (Pure Chemistry, Organic or Polymer Chemistry)
- 2-3 years of Industrial Research (additional to academic research) and experience in polymer synthesis (WB emulsions/polyurethane) in the chemical industry.
- Have some general knowledge of printing (flexo/gravure/offset) inks and coatings or similar industry and international compliances like Swiss Ordinance, EUPIA, CEPE, and FDA.
- Excellent communication & Presentation skills and Team Player.
