Position Title – Department: Cyber Security Specialist – Information Technology (IT)

Job Location: Head Office, Dolmen City, Clifton – Karachi

EDUCATIONAL, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor/Masters Degree in the field of Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience in cybersecurity or related roles
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with attention to detail
• Networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, firewalls, routers, switches, and network security protocols
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Hyper-V, or other similar platforms
• Experience with ethical hacking tools such as Metasploit, Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, Nessus, and other relevant software
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)

JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform security assessments and penetration tests on Windows environments, virtualized systems, networks, and web applications
• Implement security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
• Upgrades system by implementing and maintaining security controls
• Monitor constantly for attacks and run appropriate defensive protocols if a breach occurs
• Maintain quality service by following organization standard
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
