Position: Plant Operator

Department: Operations

Power Plant Location: Near Sheikhupura, Punjab.

Job Type: Permanent

Minimum Qualification: DAE (Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical) from Punjab Technical Board of Education.

Education & Experience: Diploma in associate engineering with 3-5 years related work experience and or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Major Responsibilities:

• Monitors equipment operation and power production locally.
• Makes rounds, checking the condition of all operating machinery.
• Records operating data in logs and maintains records.
• Starts, stops, and operates equipment in accordance with site operating procedures and per the direction of the control room operator and shift supervisor.
• Helps maintain power output to meet system demand without exceeding machinery’s design capacity.
• Helps the shift supervisor in carrying out isolations/de-isolation as and when required.
• Escorts observe and supervise the performance of contractors to ensure compliance with site safety procedures.
• Keeps site clear of all fire or other safety hazards.
