- BS / BE Chemical from a recognized institution
- 01 to 09 years of experience in fertilizer sector
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Operations Safe, consistent and efficient operations of the Urea plant.
Process parameters monitoring and Optimization.
Detailed DCS, PLC & interlocking knowledge.
Sound knowledge of plant operations, production processes, emergency handling, raw materials, process analysis and quality control.
Control and handle non-conforming products, enhance safety, capacity and service factor of plant in order to ensure smooth operations at Urea unit.
Downtime Management - Good knowledge of Start-up, Shut Down and Troubleshooting of Urea plant and reduce downtime through regular audits.
Investigate the root cause of problem and suggest solutions to avoid recurrence in future.
Safe Operations - Ensure that all activities carried out in shift are conducted safely in accordance with PSM, operating instruction / procedures, and work permit procedures.
Good knowledge of auditing, MSDS, JSA, PHA techniques, Process safety management, effluent & emission controls, and incident reporting & RCA techniques.
PSM / IMS, Internal and External Audit - Ensure the implementation of PSM / IMS policies and procedures, operate plant as per standards for internal and external audits, AFR follow-ups, review and revise IMS work procedures and work instructions as per requirement.
Knowledge and Skills Required: - Good Understanding of Fertilizer Sector
Good understanding of maintenance (machinery, equipment and, E&I) related activities.
Inventory management
Report Writing
Review of Audit Reports and check lists
Good understanding of Management of Change procedures
The Ability to Analyze Issues and Problem Solving
Effective communication with area operators for safe plant operation.
