SITUATION VACANT: The Frequency Allocation Board (FAB) invites applications from citizens of Pakistan for regular appointment to the following vacant posts. Applicants should meet the minimum educational qualifications and experience requirements as outlined below:
1. Assistant Director (Technical/EG-2)
Total Posts: 06
Regional/Provisional Quota:
- Merit: 01
- Punjab: 02
- Sindh (Rural): 01
- Balochistan: 01
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 01
Essential Qualifications:
- M.Sc. degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication/Computer) from a recognized institution/university with a minimum 3.5 CGPA/75% marks OR
- B.Sc. Engineering in Telecommunication/Electrical/Electronics/Electrical & Computer Engineering with a minimum 3.5 CGPA/75% marks from a recognized institution/university.
- Valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
Required Experience:
- Minimum 03 yearsโ experience in the relevant field from a reputable public/private sector ICT organization or Telecom company.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience in Fixed and Wireless Communication, Radio Spectrum Management.
- Knowledge of ITU, IEEE, ETSI, and 3GPP/3GPP2 standards.
- Familiarity with the latest technological trends, including 5G, OTT, Cloud Computing, IoT, AI, and Big Data.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and knowledge of MS Project.
- Strong analytical, communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Age Limit: Maximum 32 years.
2. Assistant Director (Admin/HR)/EG-2
Total Posts: 01
Quota: Appointment will be made on open merit.
Essential Qualifications:
- Masterโs degree in HRM or MBA (HR) or LLM or MPA from a recognized institution/university with a minimum 3.5 CGPA/75% marks.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 07 yearsโ experience in BPS-16 or equivalent in a public or private sector.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience in a multinational corporation.
- Excellent management, communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Strong writing skills for drafting summaries/notes.
- Ability to formulate policies, rules, and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word/PowerPoint/Excel).
- Familiarity with HR functions, contemporary HR activities, and best practices.
- Experience working with HRMS and other relevant software tools.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
3. Assistant Director (Finance & Accounts)/EG-2 or (Audit)/EG-2
Total Posts: 01
Quota: Appointment will be made on open merit.
Essential Qualifications:
- ICMA or ACCA from a recognized institution/university with 4 years of experience in the relevant field OR
- MBA (Finance and Accounts) or M.Sc. (Economics) with a minimum 3.5 CGPA/75% marks from a recognized institution/university.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 06 yearsโ experience in the relevant field in a public or private sector.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience in all aspects of Finance and Accounts.
- Experience preparing Income and Expenditure Statements.
- Experience preparing Final Accounts.
- Ability to assist auditors during audits.
- Experience handling financial claims, preparing summaries, and ensuring approval as per rules and regulations.
- Experience in cash plan and expenditure report preparation.
- Experience in budget preparation and approval for the organization.
- Good knowledge and experience in taxation matters.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.
