POSITION: Manager (Accounts, Budgeting & Taxation)

EXPERIENCE: At least 3 – 7 years of experience

QUALIFICATION: CA Qualified/finalist

LOCATION: Karachi, Pakistan

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Preparation of quarterly and annual standalone and consolidated financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and IFRS accounting standards.
• Manage the monthly closing of books of accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and half-yearly reviews.
• MIS. Develop and maintain management reports that provide insights into financial performance, key metrics, and trends.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, including the preparation of annual budget, consolidation of departmental budgets.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain discrepancies between budgeted and actual financial performance.
• Review and ensure accurate reporting of taxation matters, including income tax, sales tax, FED and related statutory requirements.
• Supervise & review the preparation & submission of monthly sales tax returns & FED and quarterly advance income tax.
