Technical Skillset:
- Awareness of industry related processes, to evaluate legal intricacies in light thereof.
- Awareness of HR Products & Services, well versed with relevant policies & industry relevant laws & regulatory requirements.
- Practical experience in managing intricate disciplinary and grievance cases in light of relevant laws and regulations.
- Experience of having handled the enquiry procedures as Enquiry/Investigation Officer.
- Strong analytical and drafting skills for effective communication w.r.t Employee Relations
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all legal matters and extend full support in relation to staff grievances, concerns, delinquencies resulting in enquiry procedures, litigation etc., and provide legal liaison with internal as well as external stakeholders. Also to respond to staff grievances as well as litigation cases related to staff at all levels bank-wide.
- To advise, for resolution, on sensitive issues relating to employee relations in line with the Bankโs policies and guidelines.
- Assist in developing / updating DA related Policies, Procedures, Forms etc., to ensure proper functioning of Employee Relations function.
- Hold DA Committeesโ meetings to manage such cases as and when required.
- Issue show cause notices, charge sheets, conduct inquiries and process disciplinary actions (DAs) as per the caseโs requirements and Bankโs prescribed policy.
- Attend to any pre and post event delinquencies / violations with reference to the Bankโs policies, code of ethics / conduct in order to control further damage (e.g. data sharing of unauthorized absences, indiscipline, punctuality matters etc.).
- Maintain and report periodically, all relevant data/ reports & MIS for audit/inspection and management review.
- Conduct training sessions for awareness of DA policies and procedures within the Bank for effective understanding and better controls.
