Leadership and Governance:
PhD Degree from an HEC-recognized university/institution in the relevant field with a special focus on Governance, Leadership, Public Policy, Public Administration, or Political Science. Candidates must have published research work related to the theme of the Chair with well-reputed publishers.

Human Rights, Social Justice, and Welfare:
PhD Degree from an HEC-recognized university/institution in the relevant field with a special focus on Human Rights, Law, International Humanitarian Law, Social Welfare, Social Work, Social Justice, or Activism. Candidates must have published research work relevant to the theme of the Chair with well-reputed publishers.

Business, Commerce, and Property Rights:
PhD Degree from an HEC-recognized university/institution in the relevant field with a special focus on Commerce, Management Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, or Intellectual Property Rights. Candidates must have published research work relevant to the theme of the Chair with well-reputed publishers.

Education and Knowledge:
PhD Degree from an HEC-recognized university/institution in the relevant field with a special focus on Education, Educational Leadership and Administration, Knowledge Management, Equity and Innovation in Education, or Cognitive and Cultural Systems. Candidates must have published research work relevant to the theme of the Chair with well-reputed publishers.

Gender Studies & Women’s Rights:
PhD Degree from an HEC-recognized university/institution in the relevant field with a special focus on Gender Studies, Women’s Rights, or Women Development. Candidates must have published research work relevant to the theme of the Chair with well-reputed publishers.

Global Peace:
PhD Degree from an HEC-recognized university/institution in the relevant field with a special focus on Peace and Conflict Studies, International Relations, Conflict Resolution, Political Science, Counter Terrorism, Deradicalization, Strategic Studies, or Global Studies. Candidates must have published research work relevant to the theme of the Chair with well-reputed publishers.

The tenure of appointment will initially be for a period of two (02) years, and extendable for another similar term upon satisfactory performance.

The performance will be reviewed on annual basis.

The monthly salary is negotiable and will be recommended by the Selection Board, keeping in view the relevant qualification, experience and research.
