Business Manager – International Business

Key Accountabilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential markets and assess the demand for the company’s products.
• Develop and implement comprehensive export strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Identify and engage with potential clients, distributors, and partners in international markets.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business deals.
• Coordinate with internal teams (production, logistics, regulatory, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and documentation requirements.
• Prepare and manage budgets & monitor sales performance and profitability in international markets.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Lead and mentor a team of sales and export professionals.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors

• MBA Marketing, or a related field, Plus a medical/pharmaceutical degree will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience in international sales and export management in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong regulatory knowledge of export markets including Africa, CIS states, and Middle East including trade regulations, logistics, and customs procedures.
• Willingness to travel frequently to international markets.
