Position Title:
Officer, Operation Management โ Karachi
Position Overview:
The prime purpose of this role is to effectively deal with Cash (LCY & FCY) receipt/payment, handling inward/outward clearing of cheques, issuance of pay order and account opening. To ensure accurate posting in the FOVA system as per SBP Regulations & ICBC Policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that accounts are opened and maintained in line with bankโs internal procedures and KYC requirements of SBP.
- Managing branch operations pertaining to clearing, remittances, collection, etc.
- Ensure FCY Encashment, issuance of pay order and pay order balancing.
- To ensure compliance of AML/CFT while conducting business.
- To perform regular KYC & AML reviews of existing clients as per frequency based on their assigned risk rating.
- Responding to customer queries and concerns.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and bank policies.
- Respond to customer queries with efficiency and accuracy.
- Liaison with internal and external customers for customer specific transaction.
- Ensuring accurate documentation for client services.
- To be compliant to regulatory and bank requirements.
- Suggestions in making different department related forms as per operation requirements.
- Take initiatives for betterment of customer services standards.
Qualification and Skills Required:
- MBA/BBA with majors in Banking/Finance/Economics or related field.
- Fresh candidates may also apply, or 1 or 2 years experience will be preferred.
- Knowledge of operational Risk and prudential Regulations, and Policies of Local Regulator (SBP).
