ICBC Pakistan Operations is looking for Assistant Manager, Finance & Accounting for its Karachi, Head Office. The person will be responsible for the following responsibilities.
- Preparation and submission of various reports to SBP such as weekly, monthly, and quarterly; as well as handling of related matters.
- Deduction and payment of withholding income tax and sales tax.
- Preparation of quarterly withholding income tax statements.
- Preparation of annual reconciliation of expenses between WHT data and financial statements.
- Handling all expense and fixed assets payments from the branches, including reimbursement claims from other departments; keeping all internal policies and tax laws.
- Keeping all records of accrued expenses and ensuring their adjustment in a timely manner.
- Performing variance analysis on expenses on a periodic basis.
- To keep abreast with changes in relevant tax laws and assist in their implementation in the bank.
- Advise other departments in the implementation of tax laws.
- Assist internal and external auditors in their fieldwork.
The candidate must be CA intermediate/MBA Finance/ ACCA. At least 05 years of relevant experience in the banking sector. The candidate must have Up-to-date tax knowledge.
