ICI Pakistan Ltd. is hiring a Senior Mining Engineer for our Soda Ash Business based at Khewra, Jhelum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a safe and practical short to long term mine plan and manage the on-ground execution of the plan and schedule.
• Ensure mine development plans are executed in a professional manner consistent with the feasibility study, regulatory requirements and corporate policies/guidelines.
• Ensure safe, efficient and smooth mine operations, both manual and mechanical.
• Develop ongoing mine designs and systems, ensuring performance and effectiveness.
• Prepare operating budgets and schedules.
• Ensure effective coordination and communication with internal stakeholders.
• Proactively manage relevant external stakeholders including community and regulatory authorities.

Other Skills: Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

1. ACCA Qualified/ Finalist or ICAP CAF Qualified 
2. Understanding of ERP (SAP) systems, preferred
3. Be well versed in MS Office (Excel, word & power point presentations)
4. Good interpersonal skills and understanding of business financial dynamics

Role includes field work, Related Party transaction verification, follow up of the outstanding audit observation and BAC meeting preparatory material.
