Qualification: Masters / Graduation in Agriculture.

Description:

Job Purpose: The incumbent is responsible for sales, development and promotion of potato, Hybrid rice , Canola and Corn related business including seed, PGPB fertilizer and Agro Chemicals. He would act as key relationship manager with potato farmers, cold storages and potato processors.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare strategic business plan for Seed Business including developing database of all farmers and their segmentation, profiling and analysis of farmers according to credibility, own farming and progressive trends
• Prepare and present SWOT analysis of Jaffer Agro with regard to Seed Business
• Manage relationships with crop growers by using database of all crop growers having their segmentation, profiling and includes analysis of crop growers according to credibility, own farming and progressive trends.
• Ensues sales of Seeds, Fertilizers and JASPL products to farmers; where development activities are in progress / completed
• Plan and execute Seminars / HPFM in customer of crop growers with Regional Managers / Sales Support Managers for the promotion of crop seeds, fertilizer and all relevant JASPL product range
• Develops concept for the relationships within short and long-term vision and strategy of the Company especially with regard to anti-sprouts and control of fungicides
• Coordinate with Regional Managers / Sales Support Managers to support the developmental activities of CIPCs / Diabolo and JASPL product range
• Prepare and execute out trial plan with selected cold storages in coordination with respective National Sales Manager / Regional Managers / Sales Support Managers
• Develop business relationship with crop processors within short and long-term vision and strategy of the Company for sales of all Jaffer Agro technologies.

Knowledge: Sales Promotion, Agriculture – crops, pests, pesticides, Fertilizer, Geography, Agronomy, Seeds, other inputs / Pesticides Ordinance / Marketing / Research / Logistics / Suppliers
