What is Manager Supply Chain Payments Digitization?

The Manager Supply Chain Payments Digitization at JazzCash holds a critical strategic position, tasked with spearheading the digitization of the complete payments value chain within the supply chain ecosystem. This role entails nationwide ownership of the portfolio, overseeing end-to-end delivery of organizational growth ambitions, and leading a team across all four regions digitize payments within the supply chain ecosystem.

This position is responsible for driving adoption of digital payment solutions among distributors and suppliers across various industries, thereby streamlining payment processes and enhancing efficiency.

What does Manager Supply Chain Payments Digitization do?



  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive adoption of digital payment solutions among distributors and suppliers nationwide, with a focus on key industries including FMCG, tobacco, pharmaceuticals, and beverages
  • Lead a team responsible for prospecting, shortlisting, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with distributors and suppliers, providing necessary training and support to facilitate the transition to digital payment methods
  • Collaborate closely with large manufacturers and principals to advocate for digital payment adoption among their distributor networks, driving top-down alignment and engagement
  • Coordinate with regional teams to ensure seamless alignment of merchants along the payment value chain, providing strategic direction and support as needed
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to design and improve solutions tailored to the specific needs of supply chain stakeholders, leveraging industry insights and feedback
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and monitor key performance indicators to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain payment processes
  • Provide ongoing support and coordination to field teams during the execution phase of digital payment initiatives

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Manager Supply Chain Payments Digitization?

  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in business development, channel management, or related roles within the supply chain domain
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams, with demonstrated ability to drive results and achieve organizational objectives
  • Extensive experience working with FMCG, tobacco, pharmaceuticals, or beverage industries is highly desirable
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Masterโ€™s degree is a plus
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals
  • Strategic mindset with a deep understanding of distribution channels and dynamics within major industries, coupled with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies

What is a Manager Corporate Partnerships?

Manager Corporate Partnerships is a key role responsible for driving Enterprise Business and B2B sales strategy, revenue growth, and market penetration within the assigned region. This position focuses on acquiring and managing high-value corporate clients, developing go-to-market strategies for payment solutions, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. The role requires a deep understanding of digital payments, including disbursements, in-app collections, Payment Gateway, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), and emerging payment verticals like marketplace and payroll. The Manager Corporate Partnerships will work closely with internal teams to optimize client solutions, enhance customer experience, and identify new business opportunities.

What does Manager Corporate Partnerships do?

1. Enterprise Business & B2B Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth:

o Drive B2B sales strategy for the assigned region to achieve revenue growth and market penetration.

o Identify, acquire, and manage key clients, including corporates and financial institutions.

2. Go-to-Market Strategy & Product Adoption:

o Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for payment solutions such as disbursements, collections, Payment Gateway, BNPL, and new payment verticals.

o Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders to drive product adoption.

3. Client Portfolio Management:

o Manage and grow a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple payment use cases.

o Drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the existing client base.

4. Market Analysis & Business Expansion:

o Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments in the payments and fintech space.

o Identify new business opportunities and emerging verticals for expansion.

5. Collaboration & Customer Experience:

o Work closely with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Operations) to optimize client solutions and enhance the customer experience.

o Provide feedback to product teams on market needs and customer pain points.

6. Operational Excellence:

o Ensure smooth onboarding, implementation, and transaction processing for clients.

o Work with operational teams to optimize transaction success rates and minimize service disruptions.

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management within the payments, fintech, banking, or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital payments, including disbursements, collections, Payment Gateway, and BNPL.
  • Proven ability to acquire and manage large corporate clients.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and sales performance data.
  • Comprehensive understanding of compliance, banking procedures, and operational efficiency within the payments sector.
