Position: IT System Administrator
Job Description:
Manage and administer VMware vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, and vCenter Server.
Design, deploy, and configure virtual machines (VMs) and virtual networks to meet the needs of various departments and projects.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to VMware infrastructure, including CPU, memory, storage, and network utilization.
Implement and maintain VMware High Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), and Fault Tolerance (FT) features to ensure high availability and fault tolerance of VMs.
Configure and manage virtual networking components such as vSwitches, dvSwitches, and VLANs.
Ensure network security and efficient data traffic flow within the virtualized environment.
Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate VMware infrastructure with storage, networking, and other systems.
Work on new requirements and recommend new hardware, software, and configurations to meet the new requirement.
Administration of Microsoft Windows Servers 2016, 2019 & 2022.
VMware certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) are a plus.
Experience in VMware related virtualization products.
Experience: At least 3-4 years of relevant experience
Qualification: Minimum bachelor’s in IT/CS from HEC recognized university.
