KE – Hiring Deputy General Manager System & Operations (AMI)

We are Hiring!

Position: Deputy General Manager System & Operations (AMI)

Job Purpose:

• Acts as the strategic owner of AMI Operations, Maintenance, and Upkeep of all AMI components including HES, MDMS, and Smart Meters communication.
• Oversees all aspects of AMI operations, ensuring efficient smart meter management and data transfer.
• Leads technical assessments, develops capability building plans, and aligns departmental objectives with the organization’s strategic goals within the framework of policies and SOPs.

Education & Relevant Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical/Electronics or related field with 10 to 12 years of Working Experience.

Knowledge:

• Head End System (HES): Oversees the AMI Headend System (HES) and its integration with designated systems to ensure maximum data availability and uninterrupted data transfer.
• Meter Data Management System (MDMS): Oversees the AMI Meter Data Management System (MDMS) and its integration with designated systems to ensure maximum data availability for operations.
• Communication: Oversees communication of AMI devices and smooth operation of Telco systems to ensure uninterrupted & secure transfer of data from all smart metering units.
• Operations and Maintenance: Oversees proper and timely operations and maintenance of smart meters according to organizational SOPs to achieve operational KPIs.
• Team Management: Builds high-performance teams, facilitates learning and development, and contributes to succession planning while fostering a positive work environment.
