POSITION TITLE:ย General Manager โ Inventory Management
Job Purpose:ย Administrative control and overall management of Inventory Management Department.
Qualification Required:ย Preferably Engineering degree in Mechanical/Industrial Or MBA from an accredited local orforeign Institute.
Professional Experience
- Relevant Managerial Supply Chain experience
- Solid Exposure of Warehouse Management, Supply Planning & Network Optimization. โ โ Working knowledge of SAP MM is essential.
- The post requires strong knowledge of Electrical Sector materials.
Job Responsibilities
ย
- Develop policies to define, manage and budget complete stores operation with respect to receiving, handling, storage & issuance of material.
- To ensure that all Inventory Management operations are run according to the defined procedures/SOPs and Budget requirements.
- Must have strong knowledge of Demand Management and Supply Planning of a large organization.
- Solid exposure and experience of stake holdersโ engagement.
- Lead the S&OP management process, prepare all data and metrics for review, identify gaps and scenarios that must be presented, guide final decision making on open items and trade-offs, and prepare escalations for executive review where appropriate.
- Analyze supply and demand issues and facilitate resolution throughout the supply chain.
- Have experience of managing inventory operations of multiple warehouses.
- To manage all the matters related to Material Planning department (SAP activities) of IM.
- To manage the activities of Disposal Department.
- To manage all the personnel related matters of the department
- To manage all the administrative matters of the department
- To manage the MIS Reporting to Higher Management & liaison with other departments of the company.
- Proposals regarding Improvement in procedures/SAP/IT initiatives to Higher Management
- To accomplish any other special assignment given by Director IM
