Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
- To supervise and provide necessary assistance/guidance to the home remittance complaints handling team with ongoing issues and their assigned responsibilities
- To liaise with the NBP’s branches, regional management teams, overseas home remittance marketing representatives for timely resolution of customer complaints regarding home remittance transactions
- To assist in timely resolution and effective management of critical complaints received from NBP’s remittance business partners/Tie-ups, PRI banks and State Bank of Pakistan PRI team
- To actively liaise with Complaint Management Wing to ensure timely and efficient resolution of all complaints related to home remittance transactions
- To oversee the activation of on-hold and delayed transactions received from branches and beneficiaries on a day-to-day basis
- To coordinate with NBP branches, PRI banks, remitting business partners, beneficiaries, and remitters to obtain necessary information required to ensure timely release of compliance held-up transactions
- To maintain MIS / record of all critical home remittance Complaints
- To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following positions:
01 Position / Job Title
Divisional Head – Financial Institutions (SVP)
Reporting to
Group Chief – International, Financial Institutions & Remittances Group
Educational / Professional Qualification
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC
- Candidates having Master’s Degree and / or majors in Business Administration / Finance and / or having relevant certifications will be preferred
Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in banking and / or financial institutions, with at least 05 years as Head and / or one level down of Head of Financial Institutions business and / or Correspondent Banking Relationship
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required
- Experience of developing and executing strategies to enhance FI relationships, drive business, and mitigate associated risks
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and industry best practices related to FIs
- Ability to lead and mentor a team, effectively communicate with stakeholders, and collaborate across departments to achieve business objectives
- Excellent financial analytical skills
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
- To develop and maintain correspondent banking relationships
- To manage and develop strong business relationships with FIs through efficient marketing and sales of FI products and services, urging partner banks to use the NBP Network for their trade-finance related transactions / business
- To liaise with correspondent banks and exchange companies for routing business for the benefit of the bank
- To provide timely and efficient support to NBP Domestic / Overseas Network / Treasury and other business groups in relation to their FI business requirements and related issues such as opening of Nostro accounts, liquidity, FI limits, etc.
- To ensure compliance with Enhanced Due Diligence review requirements, in coordination with Compliance Group, in accordance with the Compliance Policy
- To process and maintain exposure limits for correspondent banks
- To develop FI policies and procedures
- To arrange Master Risk Participation Agreements (MRPA), forfaiting and rebate-sharing agreements with FIs to support the business of the overseas network
- To timely review / renew FI Credit limits and cross border/country limits in line with the business requirements of various stakeholders
- To analyze the requests received from various offices for the allocation of FI limits for issuance of Guarantees (against counter-guarantees of FIs) and take necessary approvals
- To ensure compliance with the FI Risk Policy
- To monitor / review FI Exposures in terms of Trade & Guarantee business
- To timely review and rationalize correspondent banking relationships (local/foreign banks).
- To arrange trade / clean loans from correspondent banks to meet liquidity requirements of the overseas network / treasury at a competitive price in terms of FX rates
- To process proposals received from overseas network banks for issuance of guarantees and by domestic branches against counter guarantees of correspondent banks
- To facilitate award of business transactions relating to transactions emanating from the correspondent banks in a timely manner
- To perform any other assignment as assigned by supervisor(s)
02 Position / Job Title
Divisional Head – Home Remittances & NRP Banking (SVP)
Reporting to
Group Chief – International, Financial Institutions & Remittances Group
Educational / Professional Qualification
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC
- Candidates having Master’s Degree and / or majors in Business Administration / Finance and / or having relevant certifications will be preferred
Experience

- Ability to lead and mentor a team, effectively communicate with stakeholders and collaborate across departments to achieve business objectives
- Excellent financial analytical skills
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
- To conduct meetings with various individuals and organizations in accordance with project requirements
- To execute regular visits to respective territories and provide direction and receive first-hand feedback from stakeholders
- To monitor monthly business performance and take necessary measures to improve the remittances business
- To coordinate via meetings with the Operations team to discuss any issues and find relevant solutions to implement and improve efficiency
- To follow up on any critical and time-bound tasks assigned to subordinates and ensure successful completion of the tasks
- To conduct meetings with Compliance Group to ensure required transactions are being monitored, as well as issues relating to respective transactions
- To provide guidance and counselling to team members daily through team meetings regarding routine issues and active assignments
- To ensure required trainings are imparted at team / Regions / Branch levels for any new product / technical developments to be implemented
- To review previous targets against achievements and assign new team targets accordingly for the coming year
- To prepare annual budgets using NBP’s budget history and new market requirements
- To monitor Key Performance Indicators, daily, for evaluation of overall employee performance. Present division’s overall performance to concerned management teams and the Board of Directors annually
- To perform any other assignment as assigned by supervisor(s)
Assessment Interview(s)
Only shortlisted candidates strictly meeting the above-mentioned basic eligibility criteria will be invited for panel interview(s).
Employment Type
The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank’s Policy / rules.
