National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) is a government-owned not-for-profit company, established under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017. It provides grant financing for projects that contribute to enhancing Pakistanโ€™s resilience to climatic and other natural hazards and to strengthen the governmentโ€™s ability to quickly respond to disasters triggered by natural hazards.

NDRMF requires the services of vibrant & qualified professionals for following Islamabad based positions on performance based contract:

Theย ย ย ย ย  roleย ย ย ย ย  ofย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  theย ย ย ย ย ย  Deputyย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Managerย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Disasterย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Risk Financingย ย ย ย ย ย ย  (DRF)ย  is critical in effectiveย ย  management and implementation of disaster risk financing strategies andย ย ย ย ย  initiatives.ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Scopeย  ofย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  workย ย ย  includesย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  conducting comprehensive assessmentsย ย ย ย  ofย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  disasterย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  risks, developing and implementing risk financing mechanisms and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure theย ย ย ย ย ย  availabilityย ย ย ย ย ย  ofย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  financialย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  resourcesย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  forย ย ย ย ย ย  disaster response and recovery by designing and implementing insurance programs. exploring alternative risk transfer mechanisms and managing financial instruments to mitigate the impact of disasters. Additionally, Deputy Managerย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  DRFย ย ย  willย ย ย ย ย  beย ย ย ย ย ย ย  involvedย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  inย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  developingย ย ย ย ย  and maintainingย ย ย ย  relationshipsย ย ย  withย ย ย ย  financialย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  institutions, donors, and other relevant entities to secure funding for disaster risk financing initiatives. The Deputy Manager DRF should have a strong background in disaster risk management, finance and insurance, along with excellentย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  analytical,ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  strategicย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  planning,ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  andย ย ย ย ย  project management skills. Qualification: Masterโ€™s degree in economics, finance or any other related discipline. Experience: (i) At least 08 years of experience of working in disaster risk management, with some level of exposure to designing financing instruments to reduce the impacts of disasters; (ii) At least 5 years of managerial experience, headingย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  a teamย  withย ย ย ย  proven strongย  leadershipย ย ย ย ย ย ย  and communication skills, and ability to work cross-sector and lead inter-disciplinary teams; (iii) Experience in Insurance Industry will be an added advantage.
ย 2.Deputy Manager โ€“ Social Safeguard (One position โ€“ Fresh Advertisement)The Deputy Manager Social Safeguard plays a critical role in ensuring that social safeguard measures are effectively implemented in all projects by conducting comprehensive social safeguards assessments, ensuring compliance as per ESMS guidelines. This includes reviewing and vetting project proposals, conducting field visits to assess related impacts,ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  and providingย  recommendations to mitigate adverse effects (if any) on vulnerable groups. The Deputy Manager Socialย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Safeguardย ย ย ย ย ย ย  alsoย ย ย ย ย  works closelyย  with stakeholders to ensure participation and consultation during project implementation. Qualification: Masterโ€™s degree in Social Science. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Social assessments for different projects with focus on development of LARPS/RPs/IPPs.

The role of the Executive Assistant (QAG Coordinator) isย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  aย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  pivotal coordinationย ย ย  thatย ย ย ย ย  primarilyย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  involves ensuringย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  effectiveย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  communication.ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  coordination,ย ย  and administrative support within the department. Scope includesย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  coordinationย ย ย  ofย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  various activitiesย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  related toย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  M&Eย ย  andย ย ย ย ย  Safeguards,ย ย ย ย  suchย ย ย ย  as organizingย ย  and scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes,ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  maintainingย ย ย ย  departmentalย ย  records,ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  tracking actionย  items andย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  supportingย ย ย ย ย ย  theย ย ย ย ย ย  implementationย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  of quality management systems. Qualification:ย  14-yearsย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  ofย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Educationย ย ย ย ย ย ย  inย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Business Administration, Finance, Commerce or Economics. Experience: (i) At least 04-yearsโ€™ relevant experience inย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  aย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  reputableย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  andย ย ย ย ย  largeย ย ย  publicย  sectorย ย  orย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  private organization. Scope includes managingย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  day-to-day operationalย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  activities, such as handling travel arrangements, coordinatingย ย ย  meetings and maintaining administrative records. Qualification:ย  14-yearsย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  ofย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Educationย ย ย ย ย ย ย  inย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Business Administration, Finance, Commerce or Economics. Experience: (i) At least 04-yearsโ€™ relevant experience inย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  aย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  reputableย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  andย ย ย ย ย  largeย ย ย  publicย  sectorย ย  orย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  private organization. Terms & Conditions:

(i) To apply for above positions, maximum Age is fifty-seven (57) years.

(iii) Incomplete applications and/or applications received after the closing date & time will not be entertained and no claim whatsoever thereof will be acceptable.

(iv) Age, Qualification and Experience etc., will be counted from the date of submission of applications. Part-time, honorary, apprentice and internee positions will not be considered/ counted as experience.

(v) All candidates must have Higher Education Commission Verified/Equivalent Qualifications. Foreign qualified candidates must submit equivalence certificates) from Higher Education Commission. A selected candidate shall be required to submit HEC Verified Degree(s) before entering into employment. upon selection.

(vi) Candidates shall be required to produce all original documents at the time of interview.

(vii) Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for test/interview after complete scrutiny of applications. For physical test/Interview, a candidate must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. No TA/DA shall be admissible for test/ interview. (viii) NDRMF offers competitive remuneration and benefits package. Actual appointment salary will be based on NDRMFโ€™s standards and computation, taking into account the selected individualโ€™s qualifications and experience.

(ix) Candidates already in Government/Semi-government Organization/Autonomous Bodies & Corporations, should apply through proper channel with NOC of the respective department issued on its letterhead. Also, if such candidate gets selected, s/he shall be offered the position through contract agreement.
