Position: Chef (Rawalpindi)

Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a chef with expertise in Pakistani, Chinese, Continental, Shinwari, Barbecue cuisines, and dessert preparation.
• Experience in menu planning and cost control.
• Formal culinary education or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with current food trends and dietary restrictions.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative flair with a passion for culinary innovation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and mentor junior kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Menu Development: Design and update menus that showcase a variety of dishes with balanced flavors and presentation.
• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Quality Control: Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure it meets the establishment’s standards.
• Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and storage of ingredients, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing waste.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations and a harmonious work environment.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Customer Interaction: Occasionally engage with guests to receive feedback and ensure satisfaction with culinary offerings.
