The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following positions:





01 Position / Job Title: Wing Head โ€“ HR Legal Compliance (VP / SVP)

Reporting to: Divisional Head โ€“ HR Legal Compliance

Educational / Professional Qualification:

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC
    • Candidates having Law degree and/or Masterโ€™s/other relevant professional certification(s) would be preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 08 years of experience in the field of HR Legal Compliance and/or Employee Relations and/or Industrial Relations and/or Grievance Handling and/or Litigation and/or Court Cases Handling
  • Candidates having experience of working in a similar role in banking sector and/or public sector and/or large-scale organization would be preferred

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:

  • Strong communication and people management skills
  • Assessing and making sound judgement
  • Organized and result-oriented
  • Excellent drafting skills

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:

  • To liaise and coordinate with the Divisional Head โ€“ HR Legal Compliance for the management of all HR Legal Compliance in all legal aspects of the Bank
  • To prepare all relevant documents for litigation including complaint/petition/replies/Counter Affidavits etc.
  • To attend court cases, whenever required, with external counsels
  • To support all parts of the Regional/Head Office Business and Human Resources on HR Legal matters to ensure their effective management
  • To review and/or propose amendments in Human Resources policies, procedures, rules, regulations and code of conduct & ethics to be routed through Divisional Head โ€“ HR Legal Compliance for legal vetting keeping in view the legal infrastructure of the country
  • To manage the assigned team effectively to ensure objectives/KPIs of HR Legal are met
  • To assist and support the HR Legal Compliance Division of the Bank in the management of all Regional/Head Office HR related legal cases including without limitation provision of relevant facts, attendance in courts (along with Legal representative), ensure compliance of court requirements and court orders in a timely manner
  • To conduct awareness sessions in the Region/Head Office for reduction of HR Legal cases
  • To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Place of Posting: Karachi

02 Position / Job Title: Litigation Officer โ€“ HR Legal (OG-I / AVP)

Reporting to: Divisional Head โ€“ HR Legal Compliance

Educational / Professional Qualification:

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC
  • Candidates having Law degree and/or Masterโ€™s/other relevant professional certification(s) would be preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 05 years of experience in the field of HR Legal Compliance and/or Employee Relations and/or Industrial Relations and/or Grievance Handling and/or Litigation and/or Court Cases Handling
  • Candidates having experience of working in a similar role in banking sector and/or public sector and/or large-scale organization would be preferred

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:

  • Strong communication and people management skills
  • Assessing and making sound judgement
  • Organized and result-oriented
  • Excellent drafting skills

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:

  • To coordinate daily with Managers/Supervisors for Litigation cases filed by bank or against bank
  • To keep the management informed of all important developments in cases
  • To keep a strong follow-up with Counsels, to minimize the cases
  • To coordinate with internal stakeholders for compliance of court orders in letter and spirit
  • To liaise with the advocates and follow up on legal cases vigorously
  • To evaluate the performance of external counsels for legal counsels on regular basis
  • To review performance of External Counsels
  • To appear in Court on daily basis and update management with the NHD(s) and proceedings via email
  • To attend & represent the bank before different courts including outstation courts, on need basis
  • To be responsible for conducting smooth Audit by SBP or by the Internal & External Auditors
  • To assist and support the HR Legal Compliance Division of the Bank in the management of all Regional/Head Office HR related cases including without limitation provision of relevant facts, attendance in courts (along with legal representative), ensure compliance of court requirements and court orders in a timely manner
  • To maintain/update MIS on daily basis
  • To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Place of Posting: Karachi, Lahore and Quetta

03 Position / Job Title: Officer โ€“ HR Legal (OG-III / OG-II)

Reporting to: Divisional Head โ€“ HR Legal Compliance

Educational / Professional Qualification:

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC
  • Candidates having Law degree and/or Masterโ€™s/other relevant professional certification(s) would be preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 02 years of experience in the field of HR Legal Compliance and/or Employee Relations and/or Industrial Relations and/or Grievance Handling and/or Litigation and/or Court Cases Handling and/or handling MIS and court files
  • Candidates having experience of working in a similar role in banking sector and/or public sector and/or large-scale organization would be preferred

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:

  • Strong command over MS office
  • Organized and result-oriented
  • Good Communication skills
  • Excellent drafting skills

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:

  • To collect all the data and maintain MIS regarding the HR cases in litigation and other matters from assigned areas of the region
  • To maintain HR Legal cases MIS & Dashboard for the concerned region and provide data to Head office or supervisors
  • To maintain files of HR Litigation cases and record keeping accordingly
  • To obtain progress reports of the cases from the dealing advocates from time to time for updating MIS accordingly
  • To prepare Payment Authority Memos for all bills received from the different vendors and follow-up of the same for payment
  • To support all parts of the Regional/Head Office Business and Human Resources on HR Legal matters to ensure their effective management
  • To ensure that the turnaround time in respect of all the tasks assigned are complied with
  • To ensure that, inter alia, all the above tasks are performed diligently and in a timely manner at all times, protecting the best interests of the Bank
  • To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Place of Posting: Islamabad, Karachi, Multan and Peshawar

01 Position / Job Title: Senior Manager MIS & Business Intelligence (AVP / VP)

Reporting to: Divisional Head โ€“ Balance Sheet Management

Educational / Professional Qualification:

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC
  • Candidates having Masterโ€™s Degree or who are qualified CA / ACMA / ACCA and/or any relevant certification, such as CFA, etc. would be preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 06 years of working experience, preferably in treasury and/or market risk function of Bank and/or Financial Institution and/or Financial Sector, or Audit Firm with specific exposure to Treasury and implementation of IFRS-9
  • Candidates having experience of working in the area of Treasury, Market Risk and/or Finance with focus on MIS & data management, IFRS-9, budgeting and/or business intelligence would be preferred

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:

  • Expertise in business analytics and data management, budgeting, IFRS-9
  • Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
  • Can exercise independence of judgment and autonomy

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:

  • To drive Treasury efforts to provide accurate information on an ongoing basis
  • To provide regular MIS status updates and presentations to senior management and stakeholders
  • To participate in defining and establishing appropriate data standards, understanding the data needs of regulatory and internal reporting
  • To be responsible for resolving any issues related to misreporting and reconciliation on an ongoing basis
  • To prepare and compile ALCO packs and ensure distribution on a timely basis
  • To prepare annual Treasury budgets and strategy forecasts in coordination with other business units within the group
  • To report on performance of Treasury by running daily, weekly and monthly MIS reporting
  • To function as a support, engage and liaise for internal/external auditors/SBP inspection/Finance and Risk for implementation of IFRS-9 and ensure audit observations and any other implementation related issues are addressed prudently
  • To act as a Compliance Coordinator for Treasury
  • To establish and maintain a working partnership with the Business/Technology teams
  • To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)
