Position: Local Sourcing Specialist

Position Summary: Nestlé Pakistan Limited is currently looking to hire a Senior Procurement Specialist who would be responsible for developing, validating, communicating, and implementing sourcing strategies for locally managed categories following the defined Strategic Sourcing Process tools, templates, and policies. S/he would ensure the efficient implementation of new or changing items/services, P2P channel management and new suppliers.
A day in the life of a Senior Procurement Specialist:
- Managing a category of up to PKR 5 bio.
- Developing and implementing category strategy for Pakistan based on annual requirements/budgets and identification of opportunities for synergies across the region.
- Management of business requirements in collaboration with Tactical buyers.
- Tracking and reporting performance and savings related to his/her category, ensuring timely
- communication to keep business partners informed of progress/benefits related to strategic
- projects and initiatives.
- Sharing his/her findings with global Nestlé purchasing community to leverage key learning and
- best practices.
- Developing and Managing performance of supplier base.
- Managing risk in category and providing contingencies to ensure sustainable supply.
- Delivering and integrating innovative materials and processes from external suppliers.
- Management of internal customer base. The candidate should effectively engage and align
- stakeholders (including Marketing, Sales and Legal) to gain a comprehensive understanding of
- business requirements and to ensure that procurement value delivery is understood and
- recognized as an important contributor to Nestlé’s competitive advantage in the marketplace.
- Usage of procurement tools including e-sourcing.
- Leading negotiations with suppliers through competitive bidding tools.
- Developing and managing contractual agreements.
What Makes You Successful:
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in a relevant field.
- 5 to 7 years’ relevant experience. • Experience managing diverse or multiple (more than one) portfolios/spend categories
- over a sustained period.
- Good knowledge of spend categories, products, and relevant procurement tools.
- Demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantage to the business through
- development and implementation of sourcing strategies for the spend category in charge.
- Good network of Suppliers, Vendors, etcetera.
- Demonstrated successful use of TCO analysis, risk management, responsible sourcing, and
- supplier relation management.
- Instances of successful negotiations in cross-functional and cross-market teams.
- Full-cycle/End-to-End Project Management – Experience building from scratch (strategy to
- implementation).
- Highly adaptable and agile personality to cope with emerging or on-the-job intricacies.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Great collaborator (team player).
- Ability to manage various stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated clarity in spoken and written words.

Position: Assistant Manager Internal Audit
Position Summary:
1) Enhance and protect organizational value, reputation and sustainability by providing risk
based and objective assurance, advice and insight. In particular, the scope of activities includes the following areas:
Reliability and integrity of financial and operational information,
Safeguarding of company assets and reputation,
Effectiveness and efficiency of operations and internal controls,
Compliance with internal and external Regulations, Company principles, instructions and guidelines.
2) Ensure there is appropriate follow-up of audit recommendations.
3) Perform advisory services related to governance, risk management and controls
Job Description:
- Perform internal audit engagements of Nestlé units (i.e. Head Offices, Businesses, Sales Offices, Factories, Distribution Centers, Shared Service Centers, 3rd party providers, as well as newly acquired businesses.
- Manage Stakeholders and resolve any issues and conflicts in due time through pro-active involvement and communication
- Assist respective Audit Team Leader in performing a preliminary risk assessment to properly plan the internal audit engagement(s), by reviewing different sources of information, interviewing key stakeholders and/or starting testing, e.g. by running IDEA scripts, SAP transactions or sampling.
- Prepare comprehensive working papers to record relevant information to support their conclusions and engagement results.
- Conduct special reviews or ad hoc projects at management request tailored to specific local business needs. This may include fraud investigations and cross functional projects.
What Makes You Successful:
- CA, CMA, ACCA, University degree in Accounting, Auditing, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Environmental and Sustainability sciences
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) would be plus
- 2-3 years of working experience with international/accounting firm or large Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) corporation or of operational experience (preferred) (e.g. in Finance, SC, Sales, Marketing, or Industrial Performance) in large FMCG corporation or at Nestle.
- Proficiency in English (written and oral)
