Position Description
- Plans, manages, and executes assigned Radio care projects (SW/HW upgrades, Preventive Care, Expert Support, change deliveries).
- Lead pilots and trials.
- Maintains network installed base details.
- Provide maintenance support for equipment and applications.
- Fault diagnostics and processing
- Processing of Technical Queries, Fault Reports, emergencies, installation of patches, implement corrections
- Analysis and fault clearance of NE elements
- Emergency duty (24/7)
- Participation in installation, commissioning, Integration, acceptance, Testing of 2G, 3G Nokia Controllers & 4G e Node B’s.
- New feature implementation.
- Analysis of problems, proposing / implementation of solutions and workarounds
- SW updates and upgrades
- Tracing of error scenarios
- Symptoms / log collection in case of HW/SW problems
- Support 3rd parties in case of HW upgrade or maintenance
- Collecting requested evidence for higher level(s) of support
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics or computer engineering
- 10 years of working experience
- Technology Skills 2G, 3G, LTE
- Expertise on Nokia SRAN, mcBSC. mcTC, Flexi BSC, RNC2600 & mcRNC implementation
- Expertise on AoIP, Packet Over ABIS Implementation & Troubleshooting
- Expertise of doing the SW upgrade / updates to the latest release on the live node
- Expertise on LTE eNode B
- Knowledge of IP Networks
- Team player
- Result oriented
- Ability to work independently in a high pressure environment
- Discretion in routine matters
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to share knowledge
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Ready to work at night and travel on short notice
- Valid Driver’s license
