Accountant – Cashier

Responsibilities:

• Cash Handling: Manage daily cash transactions, including receiving payments, issuing receipts, and balancing the cash drawer.
• Accounting: Maintain accurate financial records, including preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and managing ledgers.
• Invoicing: Generate and process invoices, ensuring timely collection of payments.
• Banking: Handle bank deposits, transfers, and reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management.
• Expense Tracking: Monitor and report on company expenses, ensuring all are accounted for and within budget.
• Customer Service: Assist customers with payment inquiries and ensure a smooth transaction process.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate in Accounting, Finance or other similar field/ACCA.
• Experience: Previous experience in accounting and cash handling is required.
• Skills:
  1. Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
  2. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  4. Good organizational and multitasking skills.
  5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
