Overview
- Business Excellence
Drive and maintain integrity of the companiesโ financial statements and compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, all local statutory and tax reporting and internal control requirements. This involves working with cross-functional teams.
Ensure that all statutory filing requirements are met, and own and drive the cross-functional partnership required to manage any local audits such as customs and tax.
Assist in preparation of annual tax package of Pakistan BU and FAS 109 schedules for tax reporting.

Responsibilities
Accountabilities
- Responsible for BU (Pakistan / Afghanistan) monthly/quarterly/yearly financial reporting to BU/Region/Sector/Corporate and Local Management including preparation and submission of HFM schedules. The key tasks include:
- Consolidation of PGCS, HO and Snacks trial balances
- Mapping of SAP accounts of trials to HFM accounts
- Preparation of consolidated balance sheet and profit and loss account
- Posting adjustments to the consolidated trials
- Uploading the numbers to HFM and running validation reports to ensure that there are no errors
- Consolidation of data in HFM and promoting the status of the application to Review level 2 so that it can treated as submitted
- Co-ordination with Beverages HO / PGCS / Snacks control teams ensuring that accurate management reporting is done to BU/Region/Division/SC on a timely manner
- Ensuring that business transactions are properly mapped with HFM accounts in order to comply with US GAAPs and Pepsico policies
- Assess the impact of any changes in accounting policies and/ or Pepsico reporting guidance on BU financials and ensure such changes are reflected accurately and on timely basis
- Lead Any Sector driven reporting projects for Pakistan BU
- G&A close for Pakistan BU (Foods & Beverages)
- Assist BU Controller in preparing & consolidating information for quarterly Pre/post close calls with Sector
- Preparation of Statutory Accounts as per local laws on legal entity basis. The process includes consolidation of the Hattar / Beverages (HO) / Snacks trial balances and preparation of relevant notes to the financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant GCS controls on a quarterly basis. Develop and maintain the integrity of the financial reporting process and financial controls.
- Facilitating controlโs sign offs on PLAN / FCST submissions with regards to Sales/A&M Curve.
- Ensure that Management and Statutory reporting is backed by an ERP system
- Working closely with Snacks control team for assisting them in their financial reporting requirements
- Support Controller in preparation of OCF outlook and OCF Reporting.
- Support Business for Reporting of Media Budget/Actuals, according to BU/Region requirements.
- Responsible for the review & approval of T&E batches in ERP system
- Compilation of Monthly Financial Performance Tracking Deck.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Pepsi Co GCS in your respective area of working to minimize the risk against set forth business objectives.
- Ensure implementation and execution of processes in line with Internal Control guidelines.
Qualifications
Knowledge:
- Chartered Accountant or Masters (Major in Accounting)

Experience:
- 5 years of post-qualification experience in finance function of a reputable organization.
- Accounting & Finance exposure preferably with an audit firm or FMCG company.

Position: Agro Commercial & Supplies Manager
Overview
The role is responsible for leading the overall planning of chipstock crop, storage operations, logitistics operation and delivering Chipstock as per AOP costs.
It is further responsible for delivering quality Agro supplies to both plants as per the aligned Pepsico quality parameters with zero downtimes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure sustained supplies of quality chipstock to both manufacturing sites (Sundar & MGF) as per business plans
- Delivering business committed chipstock volumes at AOP rates
- Lead all types of Agro primary and secondary logistics, import/export and of potato
- Responsible for legal contract compliance on quantities & quality, through effective liaison with Agro Regional Managers
- Responsible for building costing scenarios in coordination with Planning & Finance functions and propose chipstock delivery solutions within planned business targets
- Responsible for leading potatoes storages agenda through prioritization of long and short term
- Ensure the compliance to applicable PepsiCo Agricultural standards in procurement, handling, transportation and storage of Agro raw materials
- Manage good quality potato supplies from storages throughout the year and delivering storage KPIs
- Agro coordinator for manufacturing sites and required to align SC manufacturing plans with Agro supply planning
- Forecast demand and create supplies plans that ensure availability of quality potato throughout the year as per production planning schedules
- Monitor forecasts and AOP to identify changes or to determine their effect on Agro chipstock volumes, storage and transportation activities
- Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of chipstock supplies, storage and logistics as product cost or quality
- Analyze Potato inventories to determine how to maintain required chipstock inventory, reduce loses, or optimize customer service through effective analysis and coordination
- Develop procedures for coordination of supplies management with other functional areas, such as SC Planning, Production, Quality Assurance, R&D and Agro field team etc.
- Participate in Sales/SC planning and production meetings and extend necessary support to related functions to deliver business product manufacturing through ensuring timely availability of adequate chipstock requirements as per plans.
- Ensure compliance on all types of Agro Commercial Contracts through financial analysis and regular follow ups with field teams and growers and also cater the changing business needs in an effective manner.
- Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback, or to discuss Transportation / Storage forecasts or changes.
- Generate productivity as per plans, through implementation of productivity initiatives within commercial transactions, storages and freight management.
- Design or implement Supplies function that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
- Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, storage, or receiving.
- Develop and execute cold storage and logistics improvement plans in consultation with HSE and QA/FS functions and in alignment with PepsiCo standards / requirements.
- Develop and deliver supply plans for second crop. Early Punjab supplies (Dec. & Jan.) and Regular season supplies with proposed mitigation actions in case of plan deviations.
- Regular participation on plant level meetings called for manufacturing plans delivery and planning purposes to provide required inputs from Agro supplies and planning perspective.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
- Direct or coordinate comprehensive logistical or reverse logistical functions for product life cycles, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, recycling, reuse, or final disposal of resources.
- Lead negotiations transportation / storage rates or services.
- Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
- Analyze country inflation and incorporation into supplies plan in alignment with Finance & GP guidelines.
- Lead the overall portfolio for the development new geographies for chipstock
Qualifications
