Position: Maintenance & Reliability Manager
Job Description
Overview
Ensure maximum technical availability of plant and machinery by leading Mechanical Maintenance of entire site including facilities and by embedding โReliability Centred Maintenanceโ techniques including but not limited to Condition Monitoring, RCAs and engineering best practices. The role requires managing of Technical Store as well to ensure availability of Spares and Operating Supplies/Consumables
Responsibilities
- Lead Mechanical Maintenance, Technical Store and Reliability teams to attain short term and long term goals.
- Lead Siteโs R&M and Operating Supply Spend by aligning all stakeholders (site Leadership Team and Finance Planning).
- Develop AOP (Annual Operating Plans) on R&M, Operating Supplies and Utility Spend. Monitor actual spends against AOP on weekly and monthly basis, generate Latest Estimates (LE) and furnish Cause of Change.
- Responsible to develop PDR (Objectives) and perform mid-year, year end review and develop capability development plans to engage & uplift employees skill level.
- Set and Lead siteโs Reliability agenda in line with PepsiCo Maintenance Methodology (PeMM) requirements which is based on SMRP Body of Knowledge.
- The role of the Reliability Engineer at site is to maximise equipment availability on equipment with strong focus on business and EHS critical Equipment.
- Generate and review MTBF & MTTR reports and drive actions that will improve asset performance.
- Own, drive and develop the embedding of site Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Analytical Problem Solving (APS) to drive technical availability and downtime improvements.ย
- Generate and review Downtime reports and facilitate cross functional RCA sessions to improve asset performance.
- Embed asset reliability into the siteโs maintenance strategy and ensure plans are in place to deliver the long-term improvement agenda.
- Drive low-cost reliability improvements by introducing low-cost condition monitoring tools and techniques.
- Define and drive an Increase in Predictive Maintenance programmes.
- Improve Maintenance task optimisation through SAP in coordination with BU Maintenance Planner.
- Ensure all site assets have been taken through the criticality/FMEA programme. Integrate FMEA/RCM protocols to ensure the most cost-effective maintenance requirements on critical equipment are implemented and reviewed through a systematic review of existing maintenance.
- Drive the delivery of PEMM results for the Engineering Support Department with specific responsibility of the Reliability section.
- Drive OEE improvement through the deployment of reliability programmes and associated techniques to drive the site towards a world class manufacturing site.
- Work with suppliers to improve equipment reliability and cost effectiveness to impact the overall maintenance cost/kg.
- Identify opportunities to improve siteโs Water and Energy KPI in line with Pep+ agenda and lead execution of initiatives pertaining to own functions.
- Identify, justify, manage and deliver key projects at the site to any value.ย This includes identification and management of key suppliers and contractors, provision of CAPEX materials and supporting documentation, management of project spend with the specific objective of bringing the project in on budget and delivering the project goals and deliverables on time.
- Apart from the above, employee is expected to perform other accountabilities, time to time assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
- Time served engineer (4-5 years of experience); exposure to Mechanical Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, Reliability & Technical Stores.
- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering.
- Experience within FMCG manufacturing.
- Must have excellent Analytical problem solving skills.

Position: Assistant Planning Manager โ Beverages
Overview
- Provide regular business performance reporting, preparation of forecasts, Annual & Quarterly Operating Plans & Forecasts, Growth Plans.
- Timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the results against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan.
- Support Finance Manager inย strategic plan and AOP development, including deck analysis and deck preparation.
- Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends and recommending actions.
- As HFM/CFR custodian ensure timely submission of Rolling forecast, AOP and other BU/ Region requests.
- As IPT custodian ensure timely submission of AOP, PSP and other BU/ Region requests.
- Report monthly actual concentrate volume shipment and status updates
- Manager and report secondary volumes submission i.e. E-Case to Region through HFM
- Prepare and report monthly secondary volumes i.e. Case Sale Analysis to Leadership Team
- Manage monthly concentrate forecast upload into SAP and track monthly accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting (NOPBT Financials / MBRย / Interim Outlook)
- Prepare monthly NOPBT flash โ Pakistan, monthly financials for review with Finance Manager.
- Compilation of Monthly Business Review (Internal & External) while liaison with finance planning team and other functions.
- Prepare Interim Outlook / Rolling forecast.
- Manage monthly submission of G&A tracking and Rolling Forecast templates to BU
- Support Finance Manager in the preparation and circulation of bottlersโ COOPs agreements
- Volume Reporting โ Plan & Actual
- Independently manage HFM submission of AOP-Phase-II e-case Volumes (franchise-wise, brand wise, SKU-wise with monthly split) by working closely with Franchise team.
- Prepare the mid/full month volume flash, HFM e-case reporting for both Pakistan (coordinating with 8 bottlers) & Afghanistan and Volume Performance Summary in multiple categories, e.g. CSD, NCB (Water & Juice).
- Prepare the National Key Account & Local Key Accounts volume reporting template for local management and Sector Template of NKA.
- PSP / AOP / Monthly Forecasts
- PSP โ Support planning team and take active participation in the preparation and submission of PSP financials in IPT and ofline templates. Along with leading G&A planning of PSP.
- AOP โ Prepare Beverages Annual Operating Plan (Volumes, P&L , Brand P&L, A&M TierII and supporting workings) and manage HFM and IPT submissions thereof, along with Offline templates. Lead G&A planning for AOP.
- Forecasts: Take active role in preparation of PI financials (Volumes, P&L, Brand P&L, A&M TierII and supporting material and template) for March/June/Sept forecasts and manage HFM & CFR submission along with Offline templates.
- Pakistan & Afghanistan AOP- Proactively participate in the preparation of PI financials (Volumes, P&L, Brand P&L, A&M TierII and support working) and manage HFM submission thereof, along with Offline templates. Lead G&A forecasting.
- Provide support in preparation of ad-hoc, PSP and AOP finance review presentations.
- Take lead in the preparation and finalization of Region/Bu financial templates e.g, Bench marking, VDT, Capex and other offline templates as and when required by BU.
- Concentrate Forecasting / Shipments
- Manage the SAP upload of 52-weeks concentrate bottlers forecast in close coordination with the franchise team.
- Keep track of forecast accuracy on monthly basis and communicate to franchise/Hattar team.
- Circulate the weekly status of concentrate shipments to GM/Franchise Team with analysis vs Forecast/plan numbers.
- Prepare monthly Days in Inventory โ DII of all bottlers at brand level.
- STB / A&M Budgets
- Manage availability of approved funds in SAP & Skelta for Marketing, Franchise & Ops. Manage A&M. Co-ordinate with IT to ensure appropriate reports are available for review and provide support commercial functions.
- Monthly/ Quarterly tracking of A&M spend vs. budgets reconciliation with relevant functions. Share results with Planning Manager/ CFO, highlight gaps/ watch-outs and take appropriate measures.
- Ensure implementation and execution of all tasks and activities are in line with Internal Control guidelines
