Job Purpose:

Responsible for leading the warehousing operations for BPC Factory Rahim Yar Khan

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise all personnel assigned involved with shipping, receiving and material movement both within the plant and between external locations.
  • Assure accuracy and maintain integrity of SAP and plant systems involved with documentation and accounting for materials movement.
  • Lead work group effort in continuous improvement for improved inventory accuracy, reduced materials loss, warehouse cost reduction, improved efficiency in materials movement and storage.
  • Train employees in safety, quality, cost and service procedural compliance and improvement.
  • Assure all goods received and stored are handled according to internal and customer procedures and expectations.
  • Lead initiatives & technological solutions on Warehouse design, Material Handling Equipment, Setting up Optimal Warehouse processes (Put-away, Replenishment, Picking etc.), 3P Logistics engagement, Warehouse Transition management, Internal & external benchmarks on Warehouse performance, Set up & drive improvement in Warehouse KPIs.

Education & Work Experience:

  • Minimum of Bachelorโ€™s degree preferably Engineering
  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience is required ideally within Logistics/Warehousing

Job Specific Skills & Requirements: 

  • Excellent communication skills and team working ability at all levels.
  • Relevant experience in a managerial role in a high-volume manufacturing or similar environment (FMCG).
  • Experience in Distribution planning, Regional 3PL management, Distribution Network design would be an advantage
  • Effective interpersonal skills and organizational awareness

Other Skills:

  • Experience in delivering a highly efficient production operation to the required levels of quality, hygiene and safety.  
  • Comfortable working cross functionally and across the supply chain department Apply

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Cultivate a collaborative atmosphere with Unilever regional sales teams and Modern Trade customers, fostering relationships to drive improvements in service levels, cost efficiencies, and loss reduction.
  • Customize order shortage communications to exceed customer expectations and relay feedback to demand planners as part of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) input.
  • Provide transparency on the overall supply situation, identifying and communicating supply risks to support the Business Planning process.
  • Work closely with Supply Planning, distribution planning teams, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to ensure the availability of Finished Goods (FGs) and promised capacities, facilitating timely product dispatch to customers.
  • โ€ข Implement supply chain initiatives by collaborating with key contacts at the customer level to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

Bachelors/ masterโ€™s in business administration 2 to 3 years work in FMCG preferably in sales and modern trade customers

Position Title: AM Legal

Function: Legal
WL: 1

Location: Karachi HO.

Job Purpose:

As part of the legal team, the AM will be responsible for a wide range of internal & external KPIs. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with various departments, and engagements broadly revolve around regulatory compliance, engaging with external legal counsel, and corporate law practice.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support & advice on ad hoc legal matters across Unilever functions as part of the legal team.
  • Review of marketing material and marketing campaigns.
  • Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, government departments).
  • Drafting an array of legal documents & curating responses to legal notices received from regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor the implementation of corporate laws and ensure compliance with legal & ethical standards.
  • Stay up to date with changes to legislation and landmark court judgements that directly affect the business.
  • Assist in streamlining processes and procedures pertaining to key risk areas.
  • Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

  • LLB with at least 3 to 4 years of experience in a law firm or as an in-house counsel
  • Top-notch research & presentation skills on legal propositions
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to collaborate with clients, lawyers, and relevant departments within Unilever
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deal with matters of utmost confidentiality
