SITUATION VACANT: The Director General of Public Relations, Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir, invites applications for various posts under the development schemes “Social & Digital Media Monitoring, Analysis and Response Management” and “Strengthening of Information Department of AJK Phase-IV Re-revised”. These appointments will be on a contract basis with a lump sum salary package.
Social & Digital Media Monitoring, Analysis and Response Management
Social/Digital Media Manager (01 Post)
- Qualification: Sixteen Years Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, International Relations, or Literature from a recognized university in 2nd division.
- Experience: At least three years of relevant experience in a well-reputed organization.
Research Analyst (01 Post)
- Qualification: Sixteen Years Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, International Relations, or Literature from a recognized university in 2nd division.
- Experience: At least three years of relevant experience in a reputed organization.
Studio Engineer (01 Post)
- Qualification: Sixteen Years Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or a three-year DAE in Electronics Technology or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- Experience: At least three years in the relevant field.
Script/Content Writer (02 Posts)
- Qualification: Sixteen Years Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, International Relations, or Literature from a recognized university in 2nd division.
- Experience: At least three years of relevant experience in a reputed organization.
Media Monitoring Officer/Cyber Specialist (02 Posts)
- Qualification: Sixteen Years Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or Artificial Intelligence from a recognized university in 2nd division.
- Experience: At least three years in the relevant field.
NLE/Video Grapher/Video Editor (02 Posts)
- Qualification: Intermediate in 2nd division.
- Experience: At least five years of experience in video editing, camera work, live coverage, and drone operation. Must have expertise in software such as Edius, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
Graphics Designer (02 Posts)
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and Graphics Designing with at least 2nd division OR a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a One-year Diploma in Graphics Designing.
- Experience: At least five years of experience in Graphics Designing with expertise in Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and 3D designing tools.
Vision Mixer (01 Post)
- Qualification: Fourteen Years Degree in any discipline in 2nd division.
- Experience: At least five years of experience in vision mixing for electronic media organizations and live coverage management for social/digital media platforms.
Drone Operator/Cameraman (02 Posts)
- Qualification: Fourteen Years Degree in any discipline with at least 2nd division and a diploma in Videography and Drone Operations from a recognized institute.
- Experience: Five years in the relevant field.
Office Boy (02 Posts)
- Qualification: Literate with good health condition.
- Experience: Relevant experience will be preferred.
Strengthening of Information Department of AJK Phase-IV, Re-revised
Junior Clerks B-11 (01 Post)
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from any university recognized by HEC.
- Typing Speed: 25 words per minute in English and Urdu.
Photographer B-08 (01 Post)
- Qualification:
- Matriculation.
- Six-month diploma in Photography from a recognized institute.
Terms & Conditions:
- Hardcopy of the application along with educational certificates, experience certificates, domicile, CNIC, and two fresh photographs must reach the given address within 15 days of the first publication in newspapers.
- The appointment will be on a contract basis for development schemes and will not confer any right to claim for continuation or regularization.
- Appointments will be made by the Appointing Authority based on the recommendation of the relevant selection board/committee.
- The maximum age limit will be as prescribed by the government and will be calculated based on the closing date of applications.
- Only applications with relevant experience and prescribed qualifications will be entertained.
- Confirmed/regular Civil/Government Servants meeting the qualifications and experience criteria may also apply through the proper channel.
- If no suitable professional and technical candidate from AJK is available, the condition of State Subject will be deemed abolished.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
- Incomplete applications and those received after the due date will not be entertained.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the test/interview.
