SITUATION VACANT: QESCO is a Public Limited Company and provides electricity to its customers. Applications are invited for the recruitment of suitable candidates to fill the following positions under the jurisdiction of QESCO on a lump sum (Contractual Basis). All the quotas including 20% Employees Children Quota etc. will be observed as per QESCO/Government of Pakistan Ministry of Energy (Power Division) policy where applicable.
- Audit Assistant (BPS 15)
Qualification/Experience:
B.Com preferably with Auditing and Advance Accountings as a special subject, OR
B.A or B.Sc from a recognized University with 3 years experience in the audit and accounts of a Govt: Dept/Semi-Govt Dept./ Corporation / Autonomous Body or Commercial Organization of repute.
6 weeks I.T Training Course (including MS Office), conducted with NTB/TEVTA institutions affiliated with / recognized by Board of Technical Education/Higher Education Commission.

Three years course diploma from a Government Polytechnic Institute in Electrical with qualification plus one year experience in the line supervisory post in any Electric Supply undertaking or Electrical concern of repute and engage in the construction and maintenance of HT & LT transmission line with different voltage and must be able to carry out line operation and maintenance works independently.

Skill Tests/Physical Tests:
Running: 800 meters in five (05) Minutes
Push Ups/Dund: 20 in a single attempt in 03 minutes
Lifting of weight: 30 kg in a single attempt
Digging: 1 ditch of length, depth, width (2x2x2)
Climbing Skills (Tower/Ladder) / Pulling of Wires: Climbing up to 10 feet tower/ladder with safety equipment in one span of 100 feet.

INSTRUCTIONS & GENERAL CONDITIONS
In light of the direction of the Govt. of Pakistan Ministry of Energy (Power Division) and QESCO policy, the above-mentioned posts are purely on lump sum (contractual basis) and extension of the contract on performance appraisal only, non-pensionable, with no long-term benefits and shall not be regularized in any case at a later stage.
Applications of candidates having Local/domiciles out of Balochistan will not be entertained for the above-mentioned post (Except Children of those QESCO Employees, applying for Employee Children Quota of QESCO).
Employees, Disabled, Women and Employee’s Children Quota (where applicable) will be observed as per Govt. of Pakistan Ministry of Energy (Power Division) and QESCO Policy.
Candidates applying on the prescribed application form for these posts available on the CTSP website will only be considered for short listing/selection.
The candidates awaiting their results are not eligible to apply.
Overqualified candidates will not be considered for the post of ALM.
The candidate’s appointment will be observed by the rollout of ALM.
The candidates who qualify for the skill tests by securing a minimum of 50% Marks will be called for Physical Tests and finally, those who qualify for the physical test by securing minimum 50% marks will be called for interviews.
No TA/DA will be admissible for the above tests/interviews.
Government servant candidates who meet the above eligibility criteria will have to provide departmental No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective departments at the time of interviews/joining.
Age relaxation has already been included in the age limit mentioned above.
General relaxation will be given in the upper age limit.
Selected candidates can be posted in any circle under the jurisdiction of QESCO as per the requirement of the company preferably in order of merit fixed to QESCO field formations in Quetta, Pishin Circle, Loralai Circle, Sibi Circle, Khuzdar Circle, and Zhob Circle.
Applications carrying incomplete/wrong information will be rejected. Concealment or misrepresentation of facts at any stage will lead to disqualification of the candidate.
QESCO reserves the right to withhold/cancel the whole recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
Candidates applying against Disabled Quota must attach a disability certificate from Assessment Board for the disabled persons from the City/District/Provincial Council for rehabilitation of disabled persons.
Candidates awaiting their results are not eligible to apply.
Selected candidates can be posted anywhere under the jurisdiction of QESCO as per the requirement of the company preferably in order of merit fixed to QESCO field formations in Quetta, Khuzdar Circle, Sibi Circle, Pishin Circle, and Loralai Circle.
Incomplete applications or applications containing incorrect information shall be rejected.
The candidates must present the original documents at the time of final selection.
After selection, the credentials of the candidates shall be verified and in case of any false/bogus information/document provided by the candidate, the selection shall stand cancelled.
Dismissed/screened out employees of any organization or having a criminal record are not eligible for employment in QESCO. The clearance of the character of the candidates will be obtained from the relevant authorities.

Recruitment against 20% employees’ children quota will be observed following the recruitment policy of the Government of Pakistan and the instructions of the Ministry of Energy (Power Division).
The recruitment for the posts of ALM will be carried out through M/s Career Testing Services Pakistan (CTSP) for transparency and fair play.
Original documents must be presented by the candidates at the time of the interview.

The roll number slips/ admittance cards shall be dispatched to the candidates by CTSP at least one week before the test.
