We Are Hiring Unit Head of Market & Liquidity Risk

Department:

Years of Experience required:

• Minimum 10 to 12 years of relevant work experience in the field of market and liquidity risk.

Qualification:

• Bachelors in Finance/Economics or related field. Master’s would be preferred.

Location:

• Karachi

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee revaluation of Money Market, FX, Equity, and Debt portfolios, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal limits.
2. Estimate and report key risk metrics, including Duration, Convexity, DV01, and Value at Risk (VaR), for different portfolios.
3. Ensure timely submission of risk-related reports, including Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), and Basel III reports.
4. Conduct scenario analysis, stress testing, and risk assessments, escalating breaches and developing mitigation strategies.
5. Lead risk culture initiatives, including staff training, workshops, and collaboration with cross-functional teams for risk management and regulatory compliance.
6. Drive process improvement, automation, and digital operations risk management with a focus on emerging technologies.
