Position: Specialist, Financial Crime Surveillance Operations

Job Summary: Support the implementation of the Financial Crime Surveillance Operations strategy by escalating appropriate Financial Crime Compliance and Anti Money Laundering surveillance issues and executing activities in line with guidance documents, Group requirements and regulatory expectations.





Key Responsibilities

โ€ขย ย  ย Maintain thorough knowledge of bank products across all segments (i.e. retail, commercial, private, correspondent banking and trade) and the ability to execute end-to-end investigations across all segments.
โ€ขย ย  ย Support relevant stakeholders to make decisions based on current and possible future policies, practices, and trends.
โ€ขย ย  ย Keep track of and provide advice to relevant stakeholders on the interpretation and application of regulatory expectations, laws, best practices and policies related to Financial Crime Compliance.
โ€ขย ย  ย Day to day processing of Quality Control reviews on Transaction Monitoring, Trade Based Money Laundering Investigation, Transaction Screening and Name Screening cases in line withย  procedures and in a timely manner within agreed TATโ€™s whilst maintaining Quality Control/Quality Assurance results in line with Group and local expectations.
โ€ขย ย  ย Understand technical aspects of systems relevant to List Management, Customer Due Diligence, Client Risk Assessments, Name and Transaction Screening, Anti Money Laundering Monitoring and Case Management.
โ€ขย ย  ย Inform Line Manager / Senior Management and relevant regulators of serious regulatory breaches (or where risk tolerances have been breached) and ensure that actions are taken quickly to remediate and/or activities are ceased.
โ€ขย ย  ย Map risks, quantify the potential impact and escalate where necessary.
โ€ขย ย  ย Provide intelligence (to internal forums) on specific clients, client-types and emerging risk typologies.
โ€ขย ย  ย Ensure the suitability and quality of case data maintained on enterprise case management systems.
โ€ขย ย  ย Partner with legal counsels for advice on technical matters.
โ€ขย ย  ย Propose control improvements, enhancements and simplifications where appropriate.
โ€ขย ย  ย Support all control checks undertaken by Financial Crime Surveillance Operations under the Operational Risk Framework .
โ€ขย ย  ย Collate, analyses and interpret data in reports.
โ€ขย ย  ย Analyze and interpret data to produce reports that help the bank identify and manage emerging areas of risk / vulnerability and support in remediation actions within the Financial Crime Surveillance Operations function.

Position: Business Banking, Relationship Manager

Job Summary: Drive sales growth by achieving targets and soliciting new Small and Medium Enterprise customers in line with the Bankโ€™s sales strategy. Keep the customers informed of products, services, promotions and cross-sell to expand the SME portfolio. Grow and maintain the a potential customer base for business development and ensure adherence to risk and policy standards in managing the existing client base.

Key Responsibilities:

โ€ขย  ย  Achieve the agreed sales target as given by the Team Leader.ย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Solicit fresh customers as per agreed Bankโ€™s sales policy, strategy, and targets.ย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Ensure Account Opening procedures are strictly adhered to as per policies and guidelines.ย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Promote the highest level of customer service and responsiveness to Consumer Banking Customers.ย

โ€ขย ย  ย AML-Report monitoring โ€“ review & responding to reports daily, weekly, and monthly and highlighting any suspicious activities.ย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Suspicious Transaction / Activity monitoring & timely closures of STRs raised.ย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Monitor and follow AML guidelines โ€“ in compliance with Policy to ensure zero issues raised in ICD/Group/SBP Audits.ย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Raise staff awareness through training and implement Group & Local policies on MLP โ€“ through master classes and other OL designed training programs.ย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Ensure that exceptions from MLP reports are disposed properly and timely.ย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Ensure backlogs are strictly tracked and escalated to appropriate levels โ€“ e.g. STR, CDD expiries, Daily AML queries or any other AML-related concerns raised.ย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Ensure that MLP records are kept according to the record retention guidelines.ย

Key Responsibilities
