We’re looking for SOC Tier 1 Analysts in our Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad offices.
Candidate requirements:
- Strong understanding of networking principles including TCP/IP, WANs, LANs, and commonly used Internet protocols such as SMTP, HTTP, FTP, POP, LDAP
- Willingness to work a flexible shift as needed
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of implementation and management of IDS/IPS, Firewall, VPN, and other security products.
- Experience with Security Information Event Management (SIEM) tools, administration of SIEM, system hardening, and Vulnerability Assessments.
- Should have expertise on TCP/IP network traffic and event log analysis.
- Experience with network troubleshooting and incident response.
- Knowledge of web proxies, content filters, or e-mail protection devices.
- Knowledge of firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto).
- Knowledge of vulnerability and compliance scanners.
- Knowledge of network technologies such as SONET, TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
- Bachelors in Computer Science.
- 0 to 2 years experience in the relevant field.
- Good communication skills (written & verbal)
