Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the implementation of high standards and active learning across the EYE curriculum.
- Ensure high quality and effective learning of students across the Early Years through continuous support.
- Coordinate and evaluate continuity and progression across the EYE schools assigned by shared practice and focused classroom observations.
- Work to ensure all EYFS/KS1 staff have an understanding of the EYFS curriculum and support the implementation of strategies to regularly track value added across Early Years.
- Facilitate implementation and evaluation of agreed development strategies on the School Improvement Plan in terms of measurable success criteria.
- To be a collaborative Early Years team member and provide mentoring and support to teachers.
- To be committed to professional development and training.
- Ensure effective and timely communication with all colleagues.
- Embrace and encourage the ethos and standards of excellence of The City School.
- Implement and support any decisions and policies the Senior Leadership Team makes.
- Observe all company policies and procedures including health and safety.

Responsibilities:
- To commit time and leadership to the successful implementation of the School Improvement Plan.
- To ensure that all teachers and support staff have a clear understanding of their performance expectations (e.g., job descriptions and faculty handbook) and to assist faculty towards becoming master teachers.
- To demonstrate role-model traits that enable others to recognise the Vice Principal as a leader.
- To seek management harmony and to instil a sense of common purpose and common pursuit toward consensus goals with regards to the decision-making process.
- To develop the leadership capabilities of teachers so that instructional leadership becomes a shared responsibility.
- To develop meaningful curriculum for the social and emotional well-being of students as leaders.
- To participate in the development of curriculum documentation that specifies content and skills, instructional methods, and assessment practices.
- To ensure that all of the Schoolโs resources are identified and being used to serve students and faculty members alike; help both to reach their full performance potential.
- To assume the responsibility for sound financial management including accurate programme budget planning and fiscal accountability.
- To have a personal commitment to seek constant professional learning and professional growth and to be a life-long learner.
- Ensure that clear targets are assigned to all Heads of Department and that job descriptions and KPIs are in place for all employees within the School.
- Perform other duties as requested by Senior Management.
