Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Principal to establish effective and globally relevant practices of teaching & learning. Implement the schoolโs vision for quality pupil centric teaching & learning.
- Establishing an effective rapport with the A-Level students, planning student engagement activities for retention and a positive school image.
- Lead on the schoolโs academic administration, including timetabling, resources, parental liaison, staff training, career & behavioral student counselling and liaison with external agencies.
- Organize the development of minimum learning outcomes for all subjects / set benchmarks to raise standards.
- Initiate effort and energy beyond the typical workday, where the tasks require additional commitment.
- Conduct needs-based lesson observation / lesson appraisals and provide focused effective feedback to meet School improvement targets.
- Help meet time-based school improvement targets in consultation with the Head of School.

Job Responsibilities:
- Take overall responsibility for curriculum implementation, lesson planning, liaising with the HM.
- Be responsible for all aspects of the schoolโs academic provision, including its curriculum implementation, lesson planning, development, delivery, assessment and monitoring.
- Monitor the work of teaching staff in ensuring that the curriculum is delivered effectively and appropriately to all pupils, taking appropriate corrective action as necessary.
- Oversee the schoolโs policy for the recording and reporting of pupil progress, based on regular assessments and reports.
- Track the progress of individuals, class and year groups as they progress through the school and provide feedback to the HM, Vice Principal and Principal.
- Conduct needs-based lesson observation / lesson appraisals and provide focused effective feedback in order to meet School improvement targets.
- Regularly conduct notebook scrutiny in order to monitor the performance of individual teachers and student progress.
- Convening regular coordination meetings for the purpose of planning the lessons and disseminating and discussing curricular issues.
- Respond to, and investigate where appropriate, parental concerns regarding the curriculum, standards of teaching and the academic management of pupils.
- Organize the development of minimum learning outcomes for all subjects / set benchmarks to raise standards.
