THE GBO GROUP is seeking an experienced Export Manager for one of its new European customers. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in export documentation requirements for the European market and possess 2-3 years of work experience in either a buying house or a reputed garment factory.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-boarding new suppliers
- Managing bank changes
- Handling insurance requirements
- Settling rebates
- Overseeing supplier payment processes
- Updating and disseminating new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Managing legal or financial documentation for all business partners
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in a buying house or reputed garment factory
- Familiarity with export documentation requirements for the European market
- Experience with on-boarding new suppliers
- Knowledge of bank changes and insurance requirements
- Understanding of rebate settlements and supplier payment processes
- Ability to update and disseminate new SOPs and legal or financial documents
- Proficiency in handling electronic packing lists and generating shipping labels
- Experience in training new suppliers
