TPL Insurance currently has a vacancy for an AVP Institutional Sales in their head office (Karachi)
This job role is to be responsible for meeting the sales targets of the organization through effective planning and budgeting, also maintaining and improving relationships with the business partners to further analyze and maximize the companyโs revenues.
Knowledge & Skills Requirement:
- Relationship-building is the ability to positively engage with others and build long-term relationships.
- Should be well aware of the market trends.
- Updated on the countryโs economic conditions
- Should be able to understand the business environment and have strong business skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must follow Sales forecasting and goal-setting and be aware of competitors strategies
- Previous experience in Account Management, Territory Sales, direct sales, and display of a positive and โcan-doโ attitude is key
- Prior experience in Bancassurance/insurance sales would be a plus point
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up meetings with new clients for pitching financial and insurance products.
- Educating clients and cross-selling new and existing insurance plus group products offered by the company.
- Analyze clientโs insurance needs to help the product team to design customized products.
- Formulation and implementation of sales strategies for growth and revenue generation
- Maintaining a long-term relationship with accounts and maximizing sales opportunities within them.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Playing an integral role in new business pitches and holding responsibility for the effective onboarding of new clients.
- Responsible for the development and achievement of sales through the direct sales channel.
- Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business.
- You will act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions
- Any other tasks assigned by the management in line with departmental needs
Interdependencies / Key Relationships:
Internal: FIG Team, Claims, IT, Marketing, Finance, Underwriting.
External: Key accounts, banking partners, and corporate clients
