JOB TITLE Network Engineer – NOC

LOCATION Karachi – PK

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Day-to-day GPON network performance monitoring
• Support customers on call & over the email
• Network troubleshooting & fault analysis to resolve the issue.
• Ensuring maximum possible service availability and performance to TES customers.
• Deployment and maintenance of network monitoring, analysis, and reporting tools.
• Working knowledge of BRAS would be an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of the following technologies: IP Protocols (ICMP, UDP, TCP); IP filtering and firewalling; Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF); Quality of Service; ¹ Ethernet (STP, RSTP, .1q VLANs).  
• Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi standards and Mid to Advanced level of troubleshooting.

SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

• Oral and written communication skills
• Technical & Troubleshooting Skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• At least 1 to 2 years of pertinent experience is required.
• A minimum requirement includes a university degree in Telecommunications.
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the NOC department.
