Completion of secondary education is required, university level education with demonstrated experience of working in development sector for six years will be an added advantage. preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work of organization.
A minimum of six(6) years of progressively responsible administrative or clerical work experience is required.
- Excellent understanding of political economy, social sectors and key challenges in decentralized context is an asset
- Prior experience in programme support functions is desirable
- Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated experience of working with international donors on project implementation, management and monitoring in social protection and public finance is desired
- Grant management experience will be considered an advantage
- 2-3 years experience in handling report compilation, data driven analytical writing in humanitarian context is highly desirable
- Knowledge of social sector specific budget data sets, trends with sound understanding of at least 1-2 information management system is desired.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language or a local language is an asset.Apply

- An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: international development, human rights, psychology, sociology, international law, or another relevant social science field.
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in design, implementation and management of protection or PSEA and child safeguarding or GBV programming, preferably with the UN and/or international NGO.
- Experience working in humanitarian contexts. Familiarity with the latest development in PSEA, inter-agency PSEA responses and humanitarian cluster systems.
- Excellent communication skills. Proven ability to work independently under difficult conditions. Excellent facilitation, training, networking and advocacy skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and establish harmonious and effective working relationships, both within and outside the organization.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language or local language of the duty station is considered as an asset.. Apply
