You will be managing on time landing of all new innovations, re-launches, localizations, any change in product in the HC category, liaising with all the stake holders in brands, R&D, Regulatory and extended supply chain team. Leading all these projects in Factory and 3P Manufacturing facilities.
What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be
- Analyzing the capacity of manufacturing in HC category and leading the capacity enhancement projects wherever there are bottle necks in capacity, managing all the actions from preparing the business case to completion of the project
- Leading all the projects related to technology changes in HC category including process and material, including introducing new technologies
- Co-ordinating all the product trials in manufacturing facility related to HC category
- Carrying out asset mapping for all the projects
- Co-ordinating all new projects related to HC category liaising with Engineering teams
- Raising all the PCPs for supply chain
- Raising and managing all Capex Related Jobs at factories
- Liasing with Regional Technology team for training and development of HC team on new products and technologies and to build local capability for HC manufacturing of all relevant products
- Leading the 5S Savings agenda for HC and landing all relevant savings projects OTIF
- Developing, maintaining and tracking the Make Savings on the HC categoryโs portfolio and reporting the same on SRS on a monthly basis.
- Devising and Supporting the HC Make Leadership in developing the detailed futuristic manufacturing strategy for the Make Footprint as well as planning future capacity requirements to meet business demands
- Extending complete support and technical assistance to the operational teams to carry out smooth manufacturing operation as per GMP guidelines
- Conducting Innovations Review Meeting in the factory every month with plant teams and other responsible teams
- Supporting the Quality, Safety and ManEx teams in the factory for execution of all relevant projects requiring technical and technology related support
What You Need To Succeed
Experiences & Qualifications
- Bachelorโs โ Engineering degree
- 3+ years experience of working in manufacturing
- Experience in Supply Chain operations/Manufacturing and/or Engineering
- Proven track record of analytical thinking and project management
Skills
- Good business acumen
- Basic understanding of P&L, and in-depth understanding of NMSCC
- Fair understanding of blown powder operations, fluid/solid dynamics
- Fair understanding of packaging technologies
- Good at stakeholder management
- Excellent communication and collaboration Skills

Job Purpose: To drive manufacturing operation to the agreed plan on volume, cost, safety, quality and other KPIs.
What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be
- To plan making and packing operations on the floor to achieve agreed shift targets in volume, quality, output reliability, cost and safety.
- To receive chemical and packaging materials.
- To organize and control labor (operators, technicians and contract) for operations in terms of numbers and skills.
- To monitor material consumption and yield and reduce waste level.
- To reduce material variance to the minimum by ensuring optimal usage of chemicals and packaging and accurate record keeping.
- To supervise weekly and monthly stock count and general Fourth Shift transactions.
- To ensure that workers wear their appropriate personal protective clothing and comply with safety, health and environmental rules
- To drive autonomous maintenance activities on the shop floor
- To support the implementation of best practices such as TPM, HACCP, and all audit recommendations.
- To identify skill gaps and organize training for workers.
- To continuously improve operations by identifying areas for process development.
Skills

Experience And Qualification
- A minimum of bachelorโs degree is required in the discipline of BSc. Engineering or Sciences
- Minimum experience of 1-2 years on production floor preferably in an FMCG
- Familiarity with supply chain operations especially in planning & SAP
- Experience in managing shop floor safety, health & environment

Key Responsibilities
- Deploy the global/cluster SHE strategy, policy and standards in the site to achieve excellent sustainable results
- Manage the SHE teams responsible to deliver Occupational Health, Safety and Environment results
- Drive safety and environment risk assessment and develop/implement appropriate controls
- Reduce the siteโs environmental impact in the areas of COD, hazardous & non-hazardous waste, SOx & CO2 emissions and water & energy consumption
- Lead the SHE Pillar in accordance with ManEx
- Develop a thorough understanding of the Unilever BBS Program and support deployment in the site
- Influence senior management and drive safety and environmental leadership through line management
- Monitor site legal compliance and ensure the site meets all local/national regulatory requirements
- and Unilever standards, provide advice on national SHE legislation requirements & implement
- relevant procedures and policies
- Work closely with Occupational Health personnel to identify and mitigate risks which may lead to occupational ill health
- Assist the site leader to develop and lead the internal crisis committees and safety committee; support the site leader in leading serious incident investigation and analysis
- Advise line management in all accident/incident investigations
- Conduct trend analysis from incidents, near misses, safe behaviour observations and deep compliance audits
- Develop and deploy internal SHE auditing and inspection systems, participate in audits of other Unilever organisations as required
- Determine training needs and assist in delivery of training programs
Essential
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS :
- Experience in Supply Chain operations
- Manufacturing and/or Engineering experience
- Proven track record of analytical thinking and project management
Preferred
- 7+ years Mechanical or Chemical Engineering experience
- Advanced degree in Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Sustainability
