Eligibility conditions for appointment of faculty in all disciplines excluding Law and Arts & Design (Studio Practice) disciplines in all HEs/DAIs:

Professor (BS-21)

• Minimum Qualification: PhD from an HEC recognized Institution in the relevant field.
• Experience: 15 years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
• Publications: The applicant must have 15 research publications with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized journals.

Associate Professor (BS-20)

• Minimum Qualification: PhD from an HEC recognized Institution in the relevant field.
• Experience: 10 years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
• Publications: The applicant must have 10 research publications with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized journals.

Assistant Professor (BS-19)

• Minimum Qualification: PhD in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution.
• Experience: Nil
• Publications: Nil

Lecturer (BS-18)

• Minimum Qualification: MS/MPhil or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.
• Experience: Nil
• Publications: Nil

Eligibility Conditions for appointment of faculty in Arts & Design (Studio Practice) disciplines in all HEs/DAIs:

Professor (BS-21)

• Minimum Qualification: First professional degree (4 Years minimum, First Division) and a Masters degree (awarded after 18 years of education) from HEC recognized University/Institution or equivalent degree from HEC recognized University/Institution in the relevant field.
• Experience: 15 years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
• Publications: 15 research publications with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized journals.

• Experience: 4 years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
• Publications: Nil

Lecturer (BS-18)

• Minimum Qualification: First professional degree (4 Years minimum, First Division) from HEC recognized University/Institution with no third division in the academic career.
• Experience: Nil
• Publications: Nil

Eligibility Conditions for appointment of faculty in all law disciplines in all HEs/DAIs:

Professor (BS-21)

• Minimum Qualification: LLB degree from an HEC recognized University/Institution having 15 years standing as an Advocate of the Supreme Court.
• Experience: 15 years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University/Institution having 15 years standing as an Advocate of the Supreme Court or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
• Publications: The applicant must have 15 research publications with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized journals.

Associate Professor (BS-20)

• Minimum Qualification: LLB degree from an HEC recognized University/Institution having 10 years standing as an Advocate of the High Court.
• Experience: 10 years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University/Institution having 10 years standing as an Advocate of High Court or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
• Publications: The applicant must have 10 research publications with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized journals.

Assistant Professor (BS-19)

• Minimum Qualification: LLB degree from an HEC recognized University/Institution with 8 years standing as an Advocate of High Court.
• Experience: 4 years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University/Institution having 8 years standing as an Advocate of High Court or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
• Publications: Nil

Lecturer (BS-18)

• Minimum Qualification: LLB degree from an HEC recognized University/Institution having 5 years standing as an Advocate of High Court.
• Experience: Nil
• Publications: Nil

General Information / Instructions

• Only short listed candidates will be called for Test / Interview.
• Candidates for all positions are required to fill the application form in MS Word available at the University website: www.su.edu.pk.
• Two most recent passport size photographs should be affixed on each application.
• Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate applications with necessary documents, complete in all respects.
• Two copies of applications are required along with complete C.V and attested copies of testimonials.
• Processing fee (non-refundable) for the posts of Professor and Associate Professor is Rs. 2000/-, in case of Assistant Professor and Lecturer is Rs. 1000/- must be paid in favor of “Treasurer, University of Sargodha, Sargodha” in UBL A/C No. 00427902181203.
• Candidates already in service of Government/Semi-Government Department or an Autonomous Body must apply through proper channel by closing date; otherwise their applications shall not be entertained.
• Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained; even posted before the closing date.
• Incomplete applications shall also not be entertained.
• The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the post(s) according to the need of the University and reserves the right not to fill/withdraw any post/withhold the appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.
