• To maintain updated account profiles on all customers through regular follow up, contact and to ensure accuracy of the information.
• To assess customer requirements by regular customer visits and to serve their needs accordingly.
• To arrange freight rate quotations as required by the customers.
• To send sales leads to concerned areas and to follow up on them.
• To approach FOB customers in order to obtain bahri's nomination.
• To obtain bahri'srecommendation for bahri's participation from C & F customers.
• To review monthly statistic reports of customers support to bahri's and also to review lost and non-supporter customers also to review freight manifests.
• To follow-up to determine reasons for any loss of support and to take proper recommended action accordingly.
• To submit weekly re-plan of sales visits to Sales Manager, Central Region for the forthcoming week on regular basis.
• To submit weekly visit report to Sales Manager, Central Region accordingly.
• To maintain correspondence files.
• To ensure 5 calls per day, weekly 25 calls (personal visits).
• To recommend where necessary accounts for Management assistance.
• To maintain a full knowledge of BAHRI’s service versus competitors.
• To answer questions on the market and provide reports as requested.
• To update Sales Manager, Central Region on competitive activities in the market.
• To maintain at all times a presentable image in line with BAHRI’s company image.
• To perform any other task given by the Management.
• To co-ordinate with the Freight Manifest & Collection Officer to collect the outstanding freight charges as per the assigned customers.
