Job Title : Director Human Resources
Location: Ziauddin University, Clifton Campus.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Director HR is responsible for directing the overall HR Operations for faculties & non-faculties. This includes developing & implementing HR Policies, providing consultation on HR issues and planning HR strategies in alignment with the Organizational goals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
- Provide strategic HR Leadership & development of ZU as it continues to grow geographically & functionally
- Build a cohesive HR Culture across the University & Colleges. Providing proactive leadership and create a harmonized environment through the development of best practices & policies in key areas like benefits & compensation, recruitment, employee relations, promotions, retention etc.
- Responsible for up skilling of employee & creation of effective programs tied to the University priorities & ensuring HR strategies & initiatives are aligned with & support strategic operating objectives of ZU as it further expands & develops.
- Bring about innovative arid efficiencies in the processes with defined outcome.
- To review, revise & ensure compliance of federal or regulatory requirement.
- Serves as a link between management & employees by handling, questions, interpreting & administering contracts & helping resolve work-related problems.
- To prepare & analyze optimal workforce planning, according to needs, resources & future requirements.
- Overseeing HR staff performance by counseling & disciplining employees, planning, monitoring & appraising HR results with attention to data integrity.
- Develop management guidelines by preparing, updating & recommending HR policies & procedures including pay structure revisions.
-Support faculty promotions & tenure procedures in collaborating with relevant faculty administrators & academic personnel. - Actively participates in University level committee or working groups focused on HR service delivery, business systems & business process improvement.
- Supporting the Pro-chancellor on all major initiatives.
REQUIRMENTS:
Academic Qualification: MBA/ MPHIL/ PHD.
Work Experience: 12 To 15 years of experience & minimum 5 years of leading position experience required.
